Having been on a number of very good cruises with Ambassador we found our latest cruise disappointing. The company cannot be blamed for the very poor wet weatherand that the itiniary had to be changed a few times. What it can be hel to account for is that the heating in the dining room and the theatres were postively cold and that is unacceptable. The TV in the cabin is very limited and there is no sports channel. Sport is a part of modern life and for 3 weeks we were cut off form the sporting world. On the plus side the food is a good as any line we have been on and the serviceand staff on Ambassador are attentivlely top class

Excellent value for money. Immaculately clean with a happy crew providing good service. Cabins are well appointed with tea/coffee facilities but no fridge. Food is adequate quality and abundant quantity. Entertainment includes in cabin tv showing bbc news, bbc hd , britbox and several movie channels - but no guide to program content or times. On board theatre is well appointed. Guest acts were very good but the resident team made up for lack of talent by sheer exuberance. Check in and out at beginning/end of cruise was very well organised. I would cruise with Ambassador again

My first cruise and it didn’t disappoint at all. I was surprised by the relaxed atmosphere and the crew couldn’t do enough for us. Food and entertainment excellent and all at a fantastic price when you compare it to a fly holiday with hotels. All together a fantastic trip.

A really nice surprise. Very relaxed atmosphere, cocktails are lush and there's always somewhere to sit. Based for the age of 50s onwards, it would also appeal to younger persons. It's not a party boat but does have areas where you can party. I travelled alone, not an issue. You can join in or stay solo, its up to you.

Another enjoyable cruise with Ambassador. 1st time on Ambition, slightly different experience than on Ambience but still very enjoyable. Have booked again for July.

Excellent cruise, we had a super time. There is always something to do onboard. Food was very good and the staff on board were always very helpful. We will be using Ambassador again.

Firstly the good review: The food was excellent. A good selection, excellent quality and fair sized portions. 5 star In respect of service, the staff could not be faulted. . 5 star Now the reason for mediocre star rating. The ship was too small for us and we could not find a quiet location to sit and chill. This may not be the case for summer cruises when people can sit outside, but minus temperatures prevented this. Ambassador employ their own entertainers and yes they are a hard working talented bunch who provided musical shows on several nights. But this then gave the impression of a holiday park at sea. Would we sail with them again. . . . on balance . . . maybe. So to summarise excellent in parts, mediocre in other aspects.

Lovely friendly ship (passengers and crew). Excellent food. The theatre shows were excellent, both in quality and variety. Just great!! Gym area also vg. Excellent ports of call.
