Virgin have eschewed the concept of drinks packages and instead offer the opportunity to buy a bar tab. The benefit of this is you don’t have to deal with trying to calculate how many drinks you need to have per day to see "value" in a package.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. This was the second time we have travelled on Valiant Lady. We enjoyed the general ambience of the ship and the quirkiness of what Virgin offered. The staff were excellent, as we remembered and nothing was too much for them.

We had an amazing time, the service was excellent from restaurant staff and customer service, food was amazing and lots of choice or different restaurant. The only thing I would say about the cruise itself is that the evening entertainment could be improved as I didnt think there was enough for early evening. The area where music was played was small. Overall the casual dress was good however there were some sailors who dressed poorly and I feel there should be standards set especially when going to the restaurants. Bars and restaurants were good and the room was cleaned every day and service was very good.

First time we've been on a cruise, I was apprehensive about what to expect, any expectations I did have were blown completely out of the water. The ship itself is small in comparison to the royal Caribbean fleet, but that never made it feel cramped or crowded. The layout of the ship is absolutely fantastic too, so many restaurants and bars that have such different themes. The food!! Oh my goodness, the food on this ship is some of the best food I've ever tasted. Already booked to do another virgin voyages cruise and I've only been home 2 days. If you're thinking about it... Just book it. You will not regret it.
