The whole experience was a joy mainly made so good by the excellent staff. The cruise director Cole in particular was so full of energy fun and excitement throughout the whole holiday working tirelessly to make sure everyone felt special and enjoying their holidays.

Great itinerary with some winter sun stops, and some sea days. Nice to finish on a double sea day to really relax without the worry about getting up early to explore. Boat was clean and fresh, with crew always scrubbing a hand rail or the grout in the floor tiles. The medalians and app made it really easy to find other party members and to contact them. Would recommend Princess.

Loved the Sun Princess was an amazing ship and state of the art . Beds so comfortable. All crew were amazing . Entertainment staff and shows amazing . Even with all this I think I prefer a smaller ship.

The Sun Princess is a new modern ship with a few drawbacks. Because of its capacity to have 4500 passengers the end result is an extremely crowded, noisy pool area. (Sun beds have no mattress and become uncomfortable). Dinning areas are busy and you often search for a table. The left overs on plates are gathered at stations amongst the diners in full view. On a two week cruise the entertainment is a repeat of the first. Although the theatre shows were good a two week rolling programme would be more appropriate. Lastly the “Dome” feature was a nice area but underused for evening entertainment that did not live up to the hype. As a result we would definitely prefer to travel on a smaller ship that was better organised in the above mentioned areas.

Princess Cruises offers both traditional dining and their flexible 'Anytime Dining'. Anytime Dining is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On most Princess ships the traditional dining times are as follows: Early seating is at 5:30 p.m. 1st seating is at 6 p.m. 2nd seating is at 8:15 p.m.

Princess Cruises offers a wide range of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and low-sodium choices. Guests can notify the cruise line in advance, and the onboard dining team strives to cater to individual dietary requirements.

Cruises to and from Southampton have no specific baggage quantity limit but require each piece to weigh no more than 23kg for ease of handling. When flying to or from the ship, whether via charter or scheduled flight, luggage restrictions generally range from 20 to 23kg per person. Ensure no individual item exceeds 23kg to facilitate safe handling by the ship's crew.

Princess Cruises embraces a smart-casual approach for evenings, with occasional formal nights. Smart-casual attire includes dresses, skirts, or slacks for women, and collared shirts with dress pants for men.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking. The Special Assistance Team will email a form 6-8 weeks before departure, which must be completed and returned.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.

Princess Cruises strongly recommends that all guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected events that could disrupt their travel plans, such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, or travel delays.
