You can buy a drinks package (see below). Or upgrade to the Princess Plus or Premier fares. They include a drinks package plus other packages for less than the cost of the drinks package on its own.

Tips

If you choose the Princess Standard fare, a daily service charge of $16 - $18 per person, depending on your cabin, is added to your account at the end of the cruise. If you choose the Princess Plus or Premium fare this already covered in the cost of your cruise.

Specialty Dining

Eating at the specialty dining restaurants is extra. You can pay for meals in those restaurants onboard. Or you get unlimited specialty dining meals included with the Princess Premier fare.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Parking

Car parking at the port or airport for the duration of your trip is not included within the price of the cruise. Port/airport parking can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add this to your package. An approximate cost for parking is between £12 - £20 per car per day. Alternatively we can arrange transfers from your home to the departure airport/port.

Insurance

We had a fantastic cruise on Sun Princess and couldn’t fault the experience from start to finish. Sailing back to back from Fort Lauderdale, the itinerary was wonderful and offered a perfect mix of relaxation, culture, and stunning scenery. Our ports of call included Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman, each with its own unique charm—beautiful beaches, clear turquoise water, and plenty to explore. After returning briefly to Fort Lauderdale, the cruise continued to Princess Cays, which was an absolute highlight: pristine beaches, crystal-clear sea, and that effortless private-island luxury. We then visited San Juan and St. Thomas, both vibrant, colourful, and rich in history, with excellent shopping. The Sun Princess itself is an amazing ship—modern, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The public spaces are stunning, the cabins comfortable. We did the Princess Premier package which suited us really well, enabling us to sample the speciality dining in all but one of the speciality restaurants onboard. Dining options were excellent with great variety and consistently high quality, and the service from the crew was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Entertainment, amenities, and onboard activities were all top-notch, making sea days just as enjoyable as port days. Overall, this was a brilliant cruise and an unforgettable trip. A wonderful itinerary paired with a beautiful ship and exceptional service—highly recommended, and we wouldn’t hesitate to sail on Sun Princess again. 🚢✨

Princess Cruises offers both traditional dining and their flexible 'Anytime Dining'. Anytime Dining is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On most Princess ships the traditional dining times are as follows: Early seating is at 5:30 p.m. 1st seating is at 6 p.m. 2nd seating is at 8:15 p.m.

Princess Cruises offers a wide range of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and low-sodium choices. Guests can notify the cruise line in advance, and the onboard dining team strives to cater to individual dietary requirements.

Cruises to and from Southampton have no specific baggage quantity limit but require each piece to weigh no more than 23kg for ease of handling. When flying to or from the ship, whether via charter or scheduled flight, luggage restrictions generally range from 20 to 23kg per person. Ensure no individual item exceeds 23kg to facilitate safe handling by the ship's crew.

Princess Cruises embraces a smart-casual approach for evenings, with occasional formal nights. Smart-casual attire includes dresses, skirts, or slacks for women, and collared shirts with dress pants for men.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking. The Special Assistance Team will email a form 6-8 weeks before departure, which must be completed and returned.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.
