Lovely cruise experience. Exceptional standards of service (just one example - we reported some small staining on our balcony railings and they were repainted within 24 hours) - from a virtually 1:1 crew to guest ratio make this line and ship standout from the rest for us. The inclusion of excursions, gratuities, premium drinks (including champagne), WiFi, and fine dining (with the exclusion of just one speciality restaurant) was also a plus as our final on board bill was zero. When you add on the flights, two nights in Miami and two in Barbados at good quality hotels with breakfast included we felt this cruise was good value for money.

Cruise met all exceptions. Excellent food. All staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Some really good trips included. Looking forward to our next Silversea cruise.
Our hotel in Montreal, pre cruise, was very good and we enjoyed our time in the city.
HOWEVER: the IGLU supported part of the package did not meet expectations. We had significant issue during the week before we left regarding the airport to hotel and hotel to port transfers which were totally inadequate: Taxi for four people and luggage could only take two cases! We also had issues with our port to airport transfer at the end of the cruise. Although the vehicle was sufficiently large, the taxi company refused to pick us up at the taxi rank at the port and we had to go across a busy freeway with our luggage to get our transfer. The company did try to contact us by phone but we did not have any wifi at this point and had to use one of the port authorities staff member's phone to make contact.
The taxi company did not contact us the night before as had previously happened and their attempts to contact us were after we had left the ship.

Cruise itself exceeded expectations. Service / staff / food / entertainment all brilliant.
Unfortunately we had pre and post cruise issues with Iglu / Silversea which are still partly unresolved.
Disappointing when cruise itself so brilliant!

Soufriere
DAY 8
17 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
Set against the striking background of the UNESCO-listed Piton mountains, Soufrière, St. Lucia, is a quaint, gorgeous, and relaxed village recognised as the island's natural, scenic heart. The twin volcanic peaks of Petit Piton and Gros Piton overlook the town, offering stunning views practically everywhere. With vibrant, pastel-painted buildings, a busy harbour, and easy access to volcanic mud springs, beautiful waterfalls, and rainforests, it gives a rustic, genuine Caribbean vibe.
Things to do in Soufriere:
Sulphur Springs Park
The only "drive-in volcano" in the world, Sulphur Springs Park offers visitors an accessible, unique experience inside a collapsed volcanic caldera. It is identified by gray/yellow volcanic landscapes, bubbling mud cauldrons, and a rotten-egg sulphur smell. Applying warm, mineral-rich mud to your skin—which is said to have therapeutic and purifying properties—is the highlight of a mud bath. You rinse with hot, sulfur-infused water when the mud quickly dries in the sun.
The Pitons
Hiking Gros Piton (2,619 feet) in St. Lucia is a strenuous, 4-hour round-trip experience in the jungle. Climbers are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the ocean and Petit Piton at the top of the steep trek. You begin at 200 feet and travel through a biodiverse, lush tropical rainforest. A halfway point with views of Petit Piton and a final "north/south" summit point with breathtaking views of St. Lucia are part of the typically two-hour climb. Scrambling over a "steep staircase" of rocks and tree roots is a common description of this difficult task, yet it is achievable for those in good physical condition.
Beaches & Snorkeling
Dark volcanic sand, a verdant jungle, and a colourful reef just off the coast are all aspects of Anse Chastanet. Part of a marine reserve, it is well-known for its "house reef" that is conveniently accessible from the shore. It has a lot of coral, sponges, and a variety of marine life, such as blue tang, pufferfish, and barracudas. Situated between the tall Pitons, Sugar Beach (Jalousie) offers white sand and breathtaking, internationally recognised scenery. It is situated within a maritime protected area. Both options are perfect for snorkeling.
Project Chocolat
The Rabot Hotel's Project Chocolat is an engaging, practical, and frequently hands-on experience.Guests begin their five-hour adventure by exploring the verdant Rabot Estate and learning how to choose and taste luscious cacao pulp directly from a freshly cut pod. Discover the organic cocoa farm, plant a cacao tree, and have each visitor make their own 72% dark chocolate bar. You can change the sugar content to create a different taste. Experiences usually include a delicious cacao-infused lunch.
Tet Paul Nature Trail
The Tet Paul Nature Trail is a 45-minute easy-to-moderate guided walk near Soufrière renowned as a "stairway to heaven" that offers breathtaking, close-up panoramic views of Petit Piton, Gros Piton, and Sugar Beach. The 0.6-mile stroll provides a relaxing and instructive experience with lush tropical gardens, organic farms, and coastline views. While there are approximately 600 steps and some short, steep sections, it is regarded as quite feasible for most fitness levels, giving it an excellent alternative to the arduous Petit Piton climb.
Fort de France
DAY 9
18 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
Spend a day in the biggest city of the French West Indies, Fort-de-France, the capital of Martinique. The city has everything from historic sites to bustling streets and sandy beaches, the options are endless for a holiday suited to you.
Things to do in Fort de France:
Fort Saint-Louis
Fort Saint-Louis is a witness to the history of Martinique and the founding of Fort-de-France. The colonial fortress is a hugely atmospheric experience where you can witness history that has dated back to the 1600s. Although this is still a working French naval base, you can take a tour and enjoy the views across Fort-de-France and watch the native iguanas within the grounds.
St. Louis Cathedral
Built in the 19th century, St. Louis Cathedral is an iconic Catholic cathedral built in a picturesque, Romanesque Revival Style. One of the most prominent attractions in the city, its extraordinary interior offers the perfect photo opportunity.
Public Library
An historic building in Fort De France, the public library was built in 1887. Home to hundreds of works, including that of abolitionist Victor Schoelcher, the unique architecture and sheer size of this library make it a fascinating place to visit when in the city.
Little Bay, Montserrat
DAY 10
19 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
Little Bay is the vibrant new hub and main port of entry for Montserrat, developed after the volcanic eruptions of the 1990s. The bay features a calm, silver sand beach perfect for swimming and is lined with popular waterfront "lolo" restaurants and bars where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local "Goat Water" stew. It serves as the gateway for boat tours to the Soufrière Hills Volcano and the "modern-day Pompeii" of Plymouth, offering a lively atmosphere that blends local culture with spectacular views of the island’s rugged green mountains.
Things to do in Little Bay, Montserrat:
Montserrat National Museum
The Montserrat National Museum tells the story of the island’s past and its recovery from the volcano. Inside, you can see ancient artifacts, learn about the island's Irish roots, and see photos of how the landscape changed after the eruptions. It is a great place to visit to understand the local culture and the strength of the people who live there.
Visit the Buried City of Plymouth
Visiting the Buried City of Plymouth is a haunting experience, often described as the "modern day Pompeii." Once the island's bustling capital, the town was completely abandoned in 1997 after being engulfed by layers of volcanic ash and mud from the Soufrière Hills Volcano. Today, you can take a boat tour or an authorized guided land tour to see the tops of buildings, the cathedral, and the remains of the courthouse peeking out from the grey ash. It is a powerful and eerie reminder of nature's force, frozen in time against a backdrop of the still-steaming volcano.
Rendezvous Bay
A visit to Rendezvous Bay is a journey to Montserrat’s only white sand beach, a secluded paradise tucked beneath towering emerald cliffs. Because there are no roads leading to the bay, it remains incredibly peaceful and is usually reached by a short boat ride or a vigorous hike from Little Bay. The crystal-clear, calm waters make it the island's premier spot for snorkelling, where you can explore vibrant reefs teeming with tropical fish in total tranquility.
Basseterre, St. Kitts
DAY 11
20 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
While staying in Basseterre, the scenic railway is the best way to see the gorgeous sights of St. Kitts in comfort and style in the early 20th century train. Meanwhile, while wandering the town, make sure to stop at Independence Square, the National Museum of St. Kitts and the Berkeley Memorial, as well as nearby Frigate Bay popular for its stunning sandy beaches, restaurants and cool cocktail bars, ideal for an evening of exploring as the sun sets.
Things to do in Basseterre, St. Kitts:
National Museum of St. Kitts
This small yet fascinating museum hosts exhibits all about the culture and history of the island and its inhabitants. Located in the old treasury building built in 1894, the architecture and charm of the museum make it the perfect setting.
Frigate Bay
This gorgeous stretch of sandy beach and blue waters boasts plenty of charming bars and restaurants to give you the perfect setting for an idyllic beach day. Tuck in to some freshly-caught fish dish, sip a cocktail and have a dip in the refreshing waters.
Scenic Railway
If you’re looking for a way to discover the natural beauty of Basseterre, you should head out on the St. Kitts Scenic Railway. Spanning 29 kilometres, this narrow gauge railway takes in all of the beautiful surrounding sights on the tropical island.
Jost Van Dyke
DAY 12
21 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
A picturesque destination, you can spend your time in the harbour relaxing on the beautiful beach, exploring the nearby shops and cafes or snorkelling in the crystal-clear lagoon. A fantastic stop-off in the British Virgin Islands, you're guaranteed an unforgettable day ashore.
Things to do in Jost Van Dyke:
White Bay
White Bay is a world-famous beach on Jost Van Dyke known for its glowing white sand and vibrant "swim-up" bar scene. It’s most iconic as the home of the Soggy Dollar Bar, where the Painkiller cocktail was invented. With no docks, visitors anchor in the turquoise water and swim to shore for drinks, live music, and reef-protected swimming.
The Bubbly Pool
The Bubbly Pool is a natural ocean jacuzzi located on the northeastern shore of Jost Van Dyke. Formed by a narrow gap in the rugged volcanic rocks, it fills with frothy, bubbling foam whenever Atlantic swells crash through the opening. A short, scenic 15-minute hike from Diamond Cay leads you to this unique spot, which is most exciting to visit during high tide or when the North Shore surf is up.
Sandy Spit & Sandy Cay
Sandy Spit and Sandy Cay are tiny, uninhabited islands near Jost Van Dyke that offer a "deserted island" experience. Sandy Spit is a famous, tiny circle of sand perfect for a quick swim, while the larger Sandy Cay features a short nature trail and lush plants. Both are only reachable by boat and are top spots for snorkeling and beach picnics.
San Juan
DAY 13
22 Dec 2026
Time at Port: from 7 AM to 7 PM
Puerto Rico’s capital city, largest urban area and cultural hub, boasts a myriad of things to do, see and taste for a true sense of all Puerto Rico has to offer. In the old city you'll walk the cobbled streets of the colonial Spanish architecture as well as the impressive defensive works of El Morro and La Fortaleza, dominating the skyline and boasting equally stunning views out of the city and coastline themselves.
Things to do in San Juan:
El Morro and La Fortaleza
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, La Fortaleza was built between the 16th and 20th centuries with the aim of protecting the city of San Juan. It has been a fortress, a prison and a residence, and is open for visitors to explore during the day.
Castillo San Cristóbal
In San Juan, there is a fort called Castillo San Cristóbal. The Spanish constructed it to defend San Juan against land-based assaults. Part of the San Juan National Historic Site, it's arguably the greatest fortification erected by the Spanish in the New World.
The Poet's Passage
The writings of local poet Lady Lee Andrews are shown at this store, art gallery, and cafe. A lot of aspiring poets attend the regular open-mic sessions; this is something that makes it a unique place to visit during a trip to San Juan.
