This is a beautiful ship and the staff are lovely and so helpful.
I love the choice of food on this ship and the fact that you can have pasta and omelettes etc made to order is a huge bonus.
The information for passengers about entertainment or going ashore is always good.

Service was very good, especially the cabin steward. Food wasn’t exceptional, but was fine. Limited choice in Britannia Restaurant, but service excellent. Choice in buffet was very good and well laid out. Not easy to get a glass of wine in buffet. Staff definitely not proactive in that respect. The girls were great, but the male staff in buffet didn’t look very happy. Would have preferred just one formal night per week (and without a theme), but we knew how it would be when we booked. The entertainment was very good, and good speakers. Not sure about the Cunard theatre group, but then P&O Headliners takes some beating. The Irish singing duo, Jane and Sina were great, as were the Trio playing string instruments (sorry can’t remember the name.
On the whole it was a good cruise, and we really like the ship. The only downside was the cost of drinks. Fortunately we don’t drink a lot. A 250ml glass if NZ Sauvignon Blanc was $18. 50 plus 15% Service charge. On top of that was a space for a tip, but j in don’t know anybody who filled that in (maybe the Americans did).
Clientele was mixed…. British, American, Australians, NZ, Canadians and other Europeans. The Aussie’s were very noisy!
Would we book again? Yes if the itinerary was right. Embarkation and disembarkation went like a dream. Loads better than going from US, which can be a nightmare.
