Our holiday was essentially ruined because our aft cabin suffered from loud knocking and bad vibrations. We were eventually placed in an inferior cabin after four nights three of which were spent in a balcony cabin until an inferior queens grill suite became available. We did not get the cabin we chose and paid for and the staff clearly knew there were issues with the cabin noise as the butler was nowhere to be seen most of the time and the concierge was apologetic.

3rd time on Victoria, I loved it again. First time Ive been inside and to be honest, it was abdolutdly fine. Infact I spent more time around the ship, joining activites rather than sit on ths balcony. 2 gala nights during our 7 day cruise but no theme, shame. New Years Eve in Amsterdam was great. The gala dinner, entertainmdnt on board and the spectacular firework display we watched from deck 10 made the night the best New Year in a long time.

Forte Michelangelo
The construction of the Michelangelo Fort began in 1508 and ended in 1537. The structure of the fortress, in true Renaissance style, has the shape of a quadrilateral with a tower in each corner, and the central tower has an octagonal layout. Its creation was ordered by Pope Julius II, to defend the Port of Civitavecchia against pirates and any other hostile encounters.
Cathedrale de Civitavecchia
The Cathedral of San Francesco d'Assisi is the most important church of Civitavecchia. Dating back to the 17th century and completely restored in 1950, it has a Baroque style and stands on the remains of a previous Franciscan church.
