To browse the internet on board you'll have to buy a Wi-Fi package. Royal Caribbean have a range of packages which start at approx $20 per day. If you want the best deal it is best to pre-book one of these before you sail. You don't need a package to use the Royal Caribbean app on-board.

Drinks

Included with meals are some soft drinks, teas and coffees but the majority of drinks are extra. If you want alcoholic drinks you can buy drinks individually at the bar or you can buy a drinks package (see below) on your pre-cruise planner after you've booked your cruise.

Tips

When you take a Royal Caribbean cruise, as well as your cruise fare, you’ll be expected to pay a little extra to the crew members. A daily service charge of $18 - $20 per person, per day (depending on your cabin) is applied to each guest's SeaPass account. This can be paid before or after your cruise.

Speciality Dining

Specialty restaurants allow travellers to enhance their dining experience during the cruise. This is a great way to add variety to your holiday or celebrate a special occasion. You can pay for meals in the special dining restaurants onboard.

Car parking

Car parking at the port or airport is not included in the cost of your cruise, and this cannot currently be booked through Iglu Cruise. However, please contact us after you have made your booking if you would like to add this to your package, so we can discuss options. An approximate cost for parking during a cruise is around £12 to £20 per car per day. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Transfers (home to port)

Transfers from your home to the port or airport aren't included but we can help organise coach transfers, taxis etc to make your life easier. Please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package.

Travel insurance

The crew were amazing, always happy to a person. The entertainment was very good and there was a lot of it available. The food was brilliant in the main, although whilst the speciality restaurants weren't overly special when compared with experience from other ships, they were ok. And if you haggle or buy pre-cruise you can achieve a good deal. We were in the Caribbean and most of the excursions we went on were good, some were a little too expensive when compared to independant operators. Also, remember, it's a big ship with lots of people on board so inevitably this will and does lead to some busy spots (especially on sea days). RC does need to get on top of the sunbed hoarders! On the whole we had a fantastic cruise 😀

RCI is our favourite brand as we like the overall package they give but this time , maybe a different class of ship?, but we felt there was a complete lack of "parties". sail aways seem to have ceased and the promenade parties were non existent. they cancelled our trip we have had booked for some months due to "lack of interest" and the lady said "sadly its not viable for us to run" but that's a money related response. happy to take our money when it suits but not when it means they might make a loss. our situation wasnt considered at all. the trip was on disembarkation day a trip to take all day which would then drop us at airport when needed, wasn't any other alternatives offered either we were just left stranded outside terminal on disembarkation day at 8 to fend for ourselves to airport for a flight at 6. 15pm so we had to sit in airport for 9 hours before a 6 hour flight. . . the cruise was also caught in the New York snow blizzard so we couldnt leave port the until the next day so meant a stop was also not made due to lack of time, we werent allowed outside due to the snow on top deck either so no fresh air. generally nice but could have done better this time RCI

Lovely ship, well decorated, modern and clean with plenty of activities. Food was very good and the staff were pleasant and efficient. The only thing I would mention is the drinks are expensive and also the internet charges, something to bear in mind.
