Family Cabins! Portugal & Spain from Southampton, 20 August 2026 (9 nights)

Absolutely lovely ship. Staff worked hard Yoga our cabin steward was amazing. Ana the host in main dining room went above and beyond. took us to our table every night even though sat at the same table. Budiyani our waiter was amazing. Entertainment was average couldn't understand some of the entertainment because of all different languages. The carasel shows were amazing even though had to pay 15 euro plus service charge.

Excellent value. Spotless ship. Housekeeping to be applauded. Food does have variety you will always find something. Cruise Holiday designations were good especially HonFleur it’s beautiful. Entertainment mixed again something for all tastes. Just choose your night.

We flew with MSC/Virgin to Barbados, Visited several islands in the Caribbean, crossed the Atlantic to Azores, Lisbon , La Coruna and Le Havre. 4500 nautical miles. This was a first time cruise with MSC and we found them very good. The ship was immaculate, well maintained and well furnished. We found the staff excellent and the food very good. We had Aurea level package with anytime dining which was very beneficial. The meals were well presented and wine selection available perfect for each meal. We were on board for 20 nights and found that throughout the cruise the level of boat occupancy fluctuated a lot. Some legs busy others quiet. This impacted the level of service and availability of seating, especially beds on deck. Whilst we were a couple the families on board had a great time with loads to do for the kids. There are several adults only areas if you like it quiet, The entertainment was superb, it altered regularly and the cast were well rehearsed in the shows the produced. There was a mix of singers, dancers, acrobatics, comedians and puppeteers on board. something for everyone, the dress and stage attire was fantastic and all shows were well attended with a few that were full houses. If you are buying drinks individually they are expensive but we took a package which worked well and saved a substantial amount for drink costs. Cabin was good, well kept with a nice toilet and shower. Big enough as you do not spend a lot of time in it. Excursions that we took were well managed and we found them interesting and value for money. Altogether a memorable holiday that we would fully recommend. We will be Back!

The crew worked extremely hard to give us a lovely experience. The ship is huge and accommodates over 6000 passengers. At certain times the buffet was extremely crowded. Our evening dining was disappointing in the choice of vegetarian food , the options were very basic and lacked imagination. There was very little choice - the special alternative was vegetable curry every night. A vegetarian chef needs to be employed who can produce dishes such as vegetable moussaka, vegetable lasagne, mock fish dishes etc. There were no Quorn products available. . There were vegetarian burgers at lunch if we asked for them but only once did we see vegetarian sausages.
