We had a great holiday ,ports were nice and we managed to visit a few sites that we had not been before . The entertainment team were top notch although some of the shows did not match our tastes . Ship was in good shape .

Great cruise and so easy with no need for anything else but your passport all the way through embarkation and disembarkation. As a solo traveler would highly recommend this size ship and Marella crew were marvelous and being all inclusive just makes it perfect. Singers and dancers all really of a very high standard.

Absolutely amazing . Enjoyed every minute of the cruise. Our deluxe cabin lived up to expectations very spacious accomodation. The food was delicious with a very wide variety to suit all tastes. The onboard entertainment was top notch. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful in everyway. We would highly recommend a cruise on Marella Discovery. Go for it!

Our first time on Discovery, but very similar to other Marella ships, albeit it felt much smaller than Voyager or Explorer. I think it is the oldest ship in the fleet and there are certainly signs of its age, rusty balcony metalwork. That said, the cabins appeared to have been updated within the last few years with a good bathroom layout. Crew were excellent, as you would expect with Marella. Only real negative was the lack of tables for 2 in the dining rooms, meaning that there was often a 30-45 minute wait unless you get there bang on opening. We offered to share one day, only to be left there while they tried to fill the table. In the meantime, those behind us in the queue were shown to a table for 2 and served straight away. Breakfast times in the main dining room seemed to change daily so ensure you check the Cruise News.
