Great cruise, room steward exceptional, stops OK but obvious problems with places being shut at New Year! Food really good, entertainent better than ever, embarkation and disembarkation both very smooth and extremely quick. Recommend.

This was or first time on the Queen Victoria and we had a great time. the Staff and suit was excellent. we were booked in the Queens Grill Suit and restaurant where the food was fantastic with lots of choice. The lift to the Restaurant was a bit slow especially on port days because this lift was used by everyone as it was the main lift to get to the deck that was the main exit to the port.

In the Britannia class it is like being in standard class. Your areas are just like any other ship or ferry. Decor is adequate but nothing special. Entertainment is fine, but you wouldn't pay more than £10 to see it in your local theatre. Food is also fine but I've had better choice and more options over more of the day on other ships. Staff were no more attentive or helpful than normal. The balcony cabin was a good size and we enjoyed having such a large sea view. The white glove thing is clearly only for those in expensive cabins; it doesn't trickle down.

It was a lovely ship but looking a bit tired in place. The entertainment was great for the first couple of days but went down hill after that, it was a bit laid back for us to many quizzes for are likening would we do it again possible not

Disappointing to say the least. Food choice not good, bread choice limited and dry. No rye or wholemeal. The wholemeal on offer was white! Vegetables overcooked amd fish soggy in the main dining room.
Chairs in the buffet were too low and needed refurbishing.
Loud banging noise in cabin all night and on deck 2!! Eventually moved to an indoor cabin at 2. 00 am which had very loud creaking noises in the ceiling. This occurred again and again but kept getting excuses from pursers office. Totally unacceptable! Shower curtain in bathroom too short so water spilled over.
