Queen Victoria Reviews
View Cruise DealsLovely ship which takes you back to how you would imagine the 1920/30’s. Personally I found it a bit too much and prefer brighter decors. I found the Britannia restaurant menu limited over the 28 days but the lido was excellent.
Beautiful elegant ship. Wonderful friendly attentive staff
Thank goodness for Cunard. Whilst not the most razzmatazz approach to cruising Queen Victoria is an elegant ship focusing on great customer service. If you want a big ship with funfairs, 5000 plus fellow travellers and round the clock hype then Cunard and Queen Victoria are not for you. Live music throughout the ship is a real joy ( I can listen to recorded music at home thanks).
5 star luxury…. Excellent food, staff friendly and professional… food very good
The ship is clean and beautiful and really well maintained. There were lots of daily activities to keep us occupied. Evening entertainment was good. Staff were attentive. Room very nice. We had an excellent time.
We enjoyed our cruise with plenty of choice to entertain on sea days. We found the menu in the Britannia restaurant offered variety but often it was over cooked and dry. The crossing the equator ceremony was lacking.
Queen Victoria is an easy ship to navigate, lovely mahogany and art deco. Good food and service most if the time. Entertainment in the evenings could be up dated, but is mixed from instrumentalists to magic and singers . External speakers are great, especially on sea days Needs some attention at the minute because it is vibrating alot at the back making the rear cabins noisy and unpleasant. , but has a scheduled refit this year so hopefully will be rectified
An excellent cruise on Cunard. The Atlantic in January is always a challenge but the Queen Victoria was stable through a storm and the service and entertainment were to the usual high standard. The insight talks were interesting and there was a very strong programme of other events. Food for a vegetarian was good although some more protein would be welcome overall.
We were upgraded to a balcony cabin which was a lovely surprise. The ship is elegant. Plenty of daily activities ftom scavenger hunts to lectures and sports competitions. I enjoyed Zumba and my husband loved the art glasses. We went to all the evening shows and various bands around the ship. The orchestras are really special. Dancing in the Querns room was fabulous. Wish we could have stayed on longer
