Enjoyed Celebrity Solstice in the Retreat. The staff in the Lumina restaurant were fantastic with excellent food and service. However, the butler dedicated to us was never really present and did not provide any additional service to our experience in the Retreat. The room service was very poor as we didn’t receive our initial order and then we tried again with breakfast but was cold when it was delivered. We decided after that to not order room service again. Also, although the staff in the retreat lounge were polite and welcoming, we felt that other parts of the ship had a much better atmosphere. Overall we did have a nice time, although, with our experience, paying extra for the retreat was not worth it.

Been on a celebrity cruise before so no surprises. The staterooms are still quite small and the balcony is a bit disappointing with uncomfortable seating. This ship has had a recent multi million dollar renovation and it was very obvious with everything in the main areas all shiny and new. The food was amazing and the drinks varied and in plenty of supply, with great cocktails and entertaining bartenders. I would book again for this ship but not this particular cruise as the ports of call are all exactly the same and the excursions are fairly similar and the weather at this time of year was very wet and misty making it difficult to see most of the attractions.

I would like to share a couple of observations from my recent experience:
Dedicated Vegetarian Counter
While there is a separate counter for vegan meals, I believe there should also be a dedicated counter for vegetarian food. This would demonstrate equal consideration for vegetarian guests, help avoid confusion, and minimize the risk of cross-contamination. I encourage you to give this suggestion serious consideration.
Automatic Gratuity Charges
I was surprised to find that a gratuity charge had been added automatically without my prior knowledge. When I raised this with the customer service desk on board, I was informed that gratuity is applied automatically.
My understanding is that gratuity is discretionary rather than mandatory. Therefore, guests should be informed in advance and their consent should be obtained before such charges are applied. Greater transparency in this process would enhance trust and improve the overall guest experience.
I hope these suggestions will be helpful in improving the experience for future guests.

Just spent an amazing 19 days on an amazing Asian adventure! The whole thing was magical from start to finish!
We visited some fabulous places- Halong Bay is a must in Vietnam. The elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui was a never to forget moment with such gracious creatures. Gardens by the Bay in Singapore was stunning. The Botancial gardens & orchid gardens are a definite must to visit- stunning displays! Eating with the locals in Hong Kong was delicious.
Celebrity Solstice was a very friendly ship with staff that were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an obstructed cabin - with no obstruction- marvellous! The food onboard was a delicious varied menu. The waiters each evening were a delight and looked after us very well. A big shout out to Rouwl & Riaz. The martini bar was a huge entertainment zone each evening. The BBC as we named then - Bali boys club were a delight. They gave great service whilst entertaining us all with their tricks! The sunset bar was a fabulous spot and a shout out to Sharlene & Dwi- they looked after us well and we had some lovely chats with them. The entertainment in the theatre was excellent, singers, magic and dancing! All in all the best holiday ever!!!!
