First time on Celebrity. Really liked the ship. Smaller size so much more comfortable than some of the mega ships. About 2,500 and 1,100 crew. The entertainment desks flow nicely on the outside of the ship so gently changing moods from the theatre at one end to the restaurants at the other with bars and shops in between. The staff were excellent, the captain very engaging, he was there as we disembarked at the end of the cruise. Food in the Blu restaurant was excellent. Music was good with Zeus from the Philippines even learning a Richard Hawley number after I requested it. Would definitely travel on the Celebrity Millennium again.

19 Oct 2026

We like the Millennium and have been on her before but she is looking a bit tired. Only minor things but our room had a funny smell when the door had been shut all day and a few bits needed sorting like plug sockets, state of the chairs on the balcony, but nothing that really detracted from our time on the ship. It feels like there's not quite as many staff about as previous cruises so you can at times have to go hunting for a drinks waiter for example. That said the food is good, we enjoyed the specialty dining, main dining and buffet. Cafe Bacio is our go to place, the cakes, the coffee and the staff are great. All the staff are absolutely amazing and they really make your life as easy as they can. The entertainment on this cruise was a bit more hit and miss but we were often tired from a full day sightseeing so again it wasn't critical to our overall enjoyment and its unrealistic to think you will like all the shows. The itinerary was amazing and we loved every port despite the rain as it was typhoon season. We were very lucky and got to see Mount Fiji on a clear day. The free port shuttles were great and immigration and disembarkation in the different ports wasn't a challenge and we were able to get off the ship quickly and efficiently. We loved the different sail away experiences with the local bands playing on the quayside.
