Going on a cheap cruise deal can mean something different for every cruiser. For some people it means low-cost cruise lines, others it means finding a great priced inside cabin for the cruise they want and to some it merely means getting great value on their holiday.
Searching for a great value cruise can mean taking many different aspects into consideration, but how many people break it down to the simple form of looking at the price person per night (pppn)? When you look at the cost of a cruise in this fashion it soon becomes obvious the cheap cruise holidays often offer better value than staying in an equivalent standard full board hotel.
When you consider that on 3* to 5* cruises you can often enjoy fantastic full board food, entertainment, great destinations and superb service for under £100 pppn, then you really are onto a winner. Staying in the Caribbean in a 3* hotel, full board, will often work out more and doesn't included a variety of ports and round-the-clock entertainment & dining.
To highlight the value of cruising on a per person per night basis, I have three cruises here to take a look at.
Brilliant Prices
Royal Caribbean really hit the nail on the head for mass appeal cruising. They offer dining, drinking and entertainment options for all. The Brilliance of the Seas has entertainment from Broadway-esque shows to stunning vistas across the ocean. You can head to an English-style pub, a well known Seattle coffee shop or an elegant Martini bar.
The Brilliance of the Seas is currently offering a great cheap cruise deal on a 23 night sailing, taking in the Med, Jordan and Dubai for as little as £48 pppn for an inside cabin and only an extra £25 at £63 pppn for a balcony cabin. There aren't too many resorts that can offer the same great entertainment, food, private balcony and winter sun weather for those kind of prices!
Cheap Cruise Holidays Med-style
MSC Cruises offer something a little different with their Mediterranean-style cruising. These multi-lingual ships offer the great food and service that you would expect in any Med resort. They are the fastest growing cruise line out there and for good reason. They offer great value over a variety of 3*& 4* ships, great food and popular destinations.
Cheap cruise holidays with MSC cruises can be found for at little as £61 pppn onboard the MSC Melody. Offering great value on an 18 night sailing from Cape Town to Genoa.
Britain's Got Cheap Cruise Deals
Britain's favourite cruise line, P&O Cruises, are not to be forgotten when it comes to cheap cruise deals. The quintessentially British 4* cruise line offer some great value sailing onboard their ships, including their über liners, Ventura & Azura. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere that would offer the same great standards of service, understated glamour and a decent cup-of-tea while in the Caribbean or Med!
The Ventura, one of the line's two largest and newest ships, is offering winter sun cheap cruise holidays to the Caribbean from as little as £73 pppn for inside cabins or £93 pppn for balconies! A balcony in Antigua, St. Lucia and the Canary Islands for under £100 pppn, that's fantastic value!
So next time you are looking at cheap cruise holidays, consider the per person per night value, the great food, entertainment and service, the wonderful destinations and the stunning ships themselves.
