Embarkation was quick and easy.
Cabin was bright and clean.
All the staff without exception were excellent. Worked very hard, always helpful and friendly.
A good choice of bars and drinks. Service was really good. Nice to have waiters in the theatre before the shows.
A good range of shows and artist.
Food quality and choice was good.
The Saffron restaurant was very good.
We dont normally go for set dining and prefer flexible freedom dining. We were on the 17:45 sitting and missed the sail out of the Fjords and ports. However, we shared with a lovely couple and only missed 1 evening. The staff were excellent.
The 19:45 set time is a bit too late for us.
All the ports of call were very good. The sunshine helped. . . .
I normally make good use of the gym, usually very early morning before breakfast. I also like the complimentary sessions stretching, abs, spin, HIT etc it's an opportunity to meet similar minded people. However, these were typically 9:30 making it impossible to have breakfast. The breakfast in the buffet closed at 10:00.
If the gym was open early, the sessions earlier and perhaps a limited breakfast after 10:00 might help overcome this.
I did a HIT session which was very good and the instructor excellent.
We really enjoyed the cruise, thankyou.

Sister ship to Ambience in Ambassador fleet, Ambition is def not as plush in my opinion. Public areas are nice, clean and comfortable. I missed the panoramic bar of Ambience to watch the sunset. Early evening entertainment in the Cavern bar way to loud for my liking. A time for chatting and socialising, hampered by the loud music. Background music is my choice, but it's in the Cavern that the evening quiz takes place and to get a table, you need to listen to the loud music first! We were on deck 8 with an ocean view. Nice cabin, but the bathroom was smelly and badly in need of an update. Staff friendly, Ambassador trips expensive as in value for money. Food very good in all restaurants.

Only one drink per person at any time may be ordered (minimum 15-minute wait between orders).

All drinks packages are non-transferable. Ordering drinks for other guests who are not on a drinks package, will result in the withdrawal of the benefit for the holder of the package i.e. with immediate effect the drinks package will be cancelled, and the guest will be required to purchase drinks from the standard menu. No refund for any withdrawn packages will be given.
All drinks within the Ambassador Drinks Packages are served by the glass only.
Please note that gratuities & service charges cannot be removed or adjusted if purchased within the package.
Please note that the Ambassador Drinks Packages are only available for beverages served on board and does not extend to pre or post-cruise arrangements, hotels, flights or any establishment ashore. The cost of the Ambassador Drinks Packages are calculated on the cruise duration and not the entire holiday duration.
Onboard purchase of the Ambassador Drinks Packages must be made within 24 hours of boarding the ship. For the avoidance of doubt, a cut-off date and time will be stipulated in the daily programme.
The quantity of drinks that the ship can carry onboard is limited by the size of the vessel and certain drinks included within the Ambassador drinks packages may be unavailable from time to time, in which case no refund is allowed.
No discounts are offered on bottles of wine, champagne or spirits.
For the avoidance of doubt, available drinks included within each package are highlighted on the bar menus.
Packages do not apply to the purchase of bottles of spirits, bottles of wine or any items offered in shops onboard.
Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right to introduce exclusions or limitations without prior notice.

Any bottles and cans will be served opened.
The ship's management reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol at any time in accordance with Ambassador’s policy for the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
The drinks package applies to the full advertised cruise duration, other than the day of disembarkation where drinks will be charged at the standard bar menu rate. For the avoidance of doubt if the cruise is advertised as a 7-night cruise, then 7 shall be applied as the multiplier to the price of the package.
Standard spirit measures are 40ml
