Having been before we still love the ship and that the marine deck lowers into the sea - although would have liked this to have been available more often. The route wasn’t the best for us and in future we would look for more interesting destinations rather than beaches. The room we chose was a bit too cramped (very good size bathroom though) and I don’t think the menus were as varied as on our last trip. The staff are all fantastic although we couldn’t understand the cruise director very well as her English had such a strong Italian accent.
Everything was great. Only criticism was the excursions which could not be booked until we got on the ship and then they were over subscribed. Arrangements were finally made to fulfill everyone's wishes but it was very chaotic. We were very pleased with the taxi driver who met us at the airport in Athens. If it hadn’t been for him our first day would have been wasted and we would have not seen the Acropolis and museum but by talking with him, arrangements were made to take us and the get us back to the port in plenty of time to embark the ship. This should have been made clearer to make sure the best advantage was taken of our time in Athens. There would not have been time on our return journey.
Absolute stunning and beautiful ship. All staff were extremely nice and helpful at all times. There was a a great selection of food. The food we had was extremely nice. The excursions were very well selected. We had a phantastic holiday.
Wonderful - all of it, the crew were so friendly and helpful; the atmosphere on board was very relaxed and everyone was easy to talk to - including the captain and officers; the food was delicious; the the excursions and guides were excellent and the information and history available in the form of talks by various members of the crew and tour guides was very informative and interesting and made the cruise so much more appreciated. And the Shil was majestic and immaculate.
