We enjoyed our cruise on the Serenade of the Seas, our first trip with Royal Caribbean. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. The ship experienced problems the week before but resolved them in time for our cruise. Alaska is amazing and I have never seen as much wildlife. We saw whales, dolphins and seals swimming alongside the ship and on our excursions we saw bears in the wild. This was one of the best cruises we have taken. The Serenade caters for the US passengers so the food and drinks were good. The entertainment appealed to the US passengers too and wasn’t all to our taste but there are plenty of places aboard to have a quiet drink. The cabin was comfortable and large enough for the family. I would certainly recommend the cruise.
The shows were absolutely fantastic loved the ship it was so big that didn’t see it all food was amazing lots different restaurants to go too and cafes the room was amazing all staff on ship were so helpful definitely be back to n ship soon
The waiters in the dining room were very attentive and polite also the food was delicious and very well presented. The deluxe drinks package could of been explained in a more formal way and customers should be informed of remaining balance of credit on their drinks cards, also the customers should be given the option to obtain one alcohol beverage package per cabin if only only person is a drinker and the other person is not.
