Glaciers to Timeless Japan from Seattle, 17 September 2025 (21 nights)

Overall enjoyable experience. However lack of communication re cancelled visit to Malacca was very disappointing. Friendly & helpful staff. Food although delicious was sometimes not served hot enough. Excursions were expensive and did not represent good value. Pool area good. Stateroom disappointingly small. . Air con very cold in some areas. No notification of cruise port change in Singapore led to inconvenience and long delay over one hour as transfer taxi at wrong centre.

A lovely small to medium ship and despite its age it was in immaculate condition. The cabin was spacious and the bathroom the vest I've experienced on a cruise ship. As for the food. . . outstanding. All in all a wonderful experience and I've been on many cruises.

Lovely Ship, very clean, Staff were exceptional . Cabin was lovely& quiet, lovely large walk in shower, bed extremely comfortable. Nice balcony. Launderette was adequette for our needs. Only downfall was the Terrace Cafe was not alot of choice and many days it was repeated, we never sat down with a proper meal it was all bits & pieces. Salad bar was Ample along with Sushi but we are not a lover of Sushi & Hubby has tummy issues so he lived on salad & sometimes a slice of meat. Puddings were lovely. 2nd was the Entertainment at night we along with others found 9pm was too late we wern't impressed with the 2 shows we did go to see, same people different costumes. I think we should have booked other restaurants beforehand because evidently the food was good there. We left it too late to book anything. Lesson learned. Lovely Library area & quiet area to play cards etc. Overall we had a nice cruise.

The Riviera was a fantastic ship, We had a PH3 cabin which was exceptional, our Butler and stateroom staff were incredible. The specialty restaurants were very good, and the food was excellent. There were plenty of activities for sea days. We will definitely book again!
