17 May 2025
Never cruised before so took a short trip with my wife to get a taste. We loved the experience of being on such an iconic ship, our room was very nice, the staff were exceptional in all departments. The choice and quality of food was also very good, all meals were well prepared. We chose a balcony room but it was classed as a sheltered one, I wouldn't chose this type of balcony if you intend to sit and admire the view. (You can't). The actual time spent at sea I found interesting and for us it was smooth. The boarding and disembarking procedures were smooth and well organised. Hamburg is not the most interesting city to visit but just outside there seemed to be lots of lovely beaches and parks.
