A very enjoyable cruise. No airports! Nice small ship and welcoming crew. Very relaxing. The weather was against us with rain and wind on quite a few days, but the Irish sea is noted for that.
Best cruise we have been on for a long time. Last Fred, 2014, on Balmoral. Food and service brilliant then but entertainment poor. entertainment now brilliant. Plus, the staff remember your names. Plus, we also had one member of staff who remembered us from Balmoral. Enrichment activities brilliant. Jeanette Yuille, an expert on Norway delivered 4 really interesting, informative and entertaining lectures. We didn't go to the photography talks but watched them in our room. Very informative and we learned how to take photos of the Fjords and how to edit them. Would recommend Fred Olsen.
As apparent from the responses below, we very much enjoyed our Norway Cruise on board The Bolette. The crew and their level of work, service and courtesy was very, very good. Thank you very much. The ship, inside and out looks great as was the food and itinerary, on board and at our destinations. We can recommend this trip and we have not been disappointed with our previous Olsen cruises. We intend to do more in the future.
This was our first cruise. It was amazing. The ship was beautiful and immaculately clean. There are many areas to sit whilst on board to relax and enjoy your holiday. The food is fantastic with so much choice every single day. The Fred Olsen staff are fabulous, they go above and beyond to make your holiday extra special.
