A lovely ship. Very relaxing atmosphere. We had a balcony cabin on deck 6. Lovely and spacious with the largest balcony we have ever had. The food was very good as was the service. All crew members we very professional and kind. They had time for everyone. This was our first time with Fred Olsen and will not be our last. We have already booked another one for next year.
Had a fantastic time on this ship my only thing would be they need to up the entertainment at night in bars we found it very sparse a good entertainer would make a lot of difference
From booking to arriving home the organisation was amazing. The amount of staff is mindblowing. The flight was all fred cruisers transfer quick and comfortable. Checkin simple welcome drink and muster quick. Cabin was spacious air con amazing both warm & cold. Always spotlessly clean as was the whole ship. Lunch was like a gourmet meal with free flowing wine Every meal that followed (which was virtually 24 hour non-stop) was hot flavoursome lots of choice was amazing the best weve had in over 25 cruises The entertainment team were great always lots going on The staff couldnt fo enuf for you it was like having your own butler anything you needed was got straight away For the age of the ship it was in wonderful condition Always being maintained Thr theatre shows both from show cast to visitors were amazing. The saxophonist did a solo for 50 mins on 2 occasions and was out of this world The crew show was so funny and amazing Disembarkation was very well organised staff there thanking us for sailing with them Abbie was her usual cheerful self wishing us all farewell The captains cocktail party and farewell party were slso highlights with free flowing drinks and canopies It was a pleasure to sail with FRED OLSEN and will certainly be returning
First time with Fred Olson, was very impressed with the ship, staff and service. I am in a special diet, and this was catered for, which impressed me. The entertainment was excellent, something going in for all tastes. We had an incident with a lot of noise starting at 3 am from outside our window.. sounded like a train! It kept stopping and starting. We mentioned it to reception. The following night same again started at 2:30. Never found out what it was, but we were moved cabins.
