Emerald Sakara Reviews

Our Emerald Sakara cruise was for two weeks from 7th February covering our 30th Wedding Anniversary on 14th. We sailed with Captain Belinda from Barbados around the Caribbean islands. Each island was a new adventure, despite some itinerary changes due to weather. We were slightly disappointed that some of the included excursions were missed, but understand that safety is top priority. Our cabin was comfortable, lovely and spacious and well looked after by Chon and Analyn. We are both vegetarian and the food was amazing, so tasty and well presented by Candy and Chef Nickolas. The bar staff who carried out other duties as well, were very attentive, got to know us and prepared our favourite drinks throughout the holiday, Ariana for the Pink Panther cocktails, Aaron for the Calypso coffees, Langdon for the Gin and Lemon, Our every need was met and we celebrated a fantastic milestone with special touches from the crew. There were so many highlights I cannot list them all. We had an absolutely amazing time and made many happy memories.

Staff, food,service, cabin comfort all fabulous. Some issues around safety particularly on tender and zodiac transfers. Not suitable for those with mobility issues. Attention to detail variable e. g cleanliness of open deck areas. Lovely port calls off the general cruise beat. Spacious lounge and deck areas superbly kitted out.
