Our cruise was 50/50 Some good some bad. Cabin quite small, food sometimes good sometimes bad. ship too big and too crowded. Even charged us 22 euros fees for the day we disembarked at 9. 30 am

Whilst the cruise did not have a lot of British passengers onboard, we had a superb time. Cabin was spotless and roomy. Service by all staff was first class. Food was amazing at all times with nothing we thought was bad. Entertainment was some of the best we have seen at sea. We will definitely be going back with Costa again. Ignore all of the bad press and reviews as it's not as bad as people make out. Fantastic well designed ship.

Ship was amazing and clean. Staff worked hard but didn't have time to give guests the same level of attention that you receive with other cruise lines . Restaurant food was hit and miss . Overall good value for money

Amazing week My husband and daughter’s first cruise and it was amazing. Food was amazing but very Italian. But we enjoyed it not one plate I thought was bad. The gammon and pork belly in the buffet was my favourite. staff was amazing. The party’s was amazing the balcony cabin with the terrace was a good size for two adults and a child. The buffet could get a bit mad at busy times but other than that it was great. Next year we’ll do a biggger boat.

This was my first cruise with Costa Cruises, and expectations were very high. Although it was a lovely holiday. Other competitors offer better services.

Ship was very large, modern and excellent. Staff were numerous and very helpful. Cabin was excellent with large screen TV. Food (albeit very Mediterranean) and Drinks was very good. Bad start for me as unfortunately my luggage did not arrive at Barcelona airport and I was not reunited with it until Day 4 at Naples. Safety Muster Station drill was a shambles and very stressful in the clothes I left Belfast in at 7 Degrees C!. Little or no information in English was a trend throughout the cruise. No advance information on our Ports or access via shuttle buses. (Marseille was the worst!) The shows were poor but probably enjoyed by the Spanish and Italian families. Biggest problem was difficult to get any peace and quiet as there were noise children at the pools, water park, jacuzzi and even in the bars at midnight. Should have been a child curfew at 11pm. Only found an 'adults only' area at the front of the ship on last evening! Thank goodness we had an English couple at our allocated dining table as they were the only English speaking people we met. They were also apawled by the general noise and lack of information. We would not have booked this cruise if we had known that it was going to be dominated so much by Spanish and Italian families (we assumed at this time children would be at school) Would we cruise again? maybe, but unlikely with Costa - perhaps Royal Carribean.

Nice room, big ship with lots of facilities. Very good dance lessons, excellent itinery. The staff do not smile, the food in the buffet was nice but you have to wait to be served and there are always queues. The shows were very nice but the theatre is not well designed so few can get a good view and many people were unable to watch. There is no options for a few hours between lunch and dinner for food and as this is often the time for returing from excursions, this is inconvenient. There is only hot water for tea at breakfast so if you need at any other time you have to go through room service. The free shutle bus in Marseilles is 1 1/2 miles from the ship and there are very few with no timetable so after waiting 30 minutes with a long queue and no busses ariving at all, we gave up and used public transport. There are people smoking outside of smoking areas all over the ship and security does not seem to do anything about it.

Had a fabulous cabin with an inner and outer balcony Food was amazing and the speciality restaurants were outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although it was a big ship you never felt crowded. The itinerary was great and transfers easy and regular.

Ship was great not a fault once we found our way round the shear size of it probably something we didn't see ! . Was not impressed with the hotel surcharge of 11 euro per person on hol with it being all inclusive supposedly with all gratatuaties paid so sorry but usually tip the housekeepers and bar staff as know it goes to them then . But added 144 euro to holiday price? Entertainment was mixed but interesting with the stars event ✨️ amazing in the dark sea.

Lovely ship, good sized clean cabin, entertainment in the evenings a bit disappointing, charges for anything outside set meal times too.
