Outside balcony cabin very comfortable, good shower. Quite an uncomfortable ride due to the sea swell and juddering motion of the ship noticed oartucularly overnight. Food fantastic. Wifi disappointing as only available for 1 user. Waiters and staff overall very friendly and helpful other than a couple of exceptions in the lounge bar where service a bit slow. Entertainment manager sounded bored most of the time until jovial complaint by captain over the ships internal daily update on. Excursions poor quality and vastly overpriced particularly Madagascar and Reunion island. Poor choice of port stays here as only viable excursions avaiable were from Azamara and no local town suitable for tourists

We had a wonderful time aboard Azamara Pursuit. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Eric was absolutely brilliant again! He is an exceptional cruise director. All the passengers were very friendly and pleasant company and the excursion hosts were very informative and caring. The hygiene was excellent. I have dietary problems and the waiters looked after me extremely well.

Captain and cruise director both absolutely excellent. Crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food wonderful and we particularly enjoyed the White night and Azamazing evenings.
Our balcony cabin was spacious and the balcony perfect for dining out on. As others have said the show cubicle is really small. We really appreciated the inclusive cabin service, drinks package and tips but were disappointed by the wifi packages which were extremely expensive.
Our only negative was some out of control drunken behaviour by one passenger but this was quickly stamped on after complaints had been made.
We would absolutely cruise with Azamara again.

27 Nov 2025
I don’t think we were typical of Azamara passengers. We chose the Pursuit because of the destinations. However, the food was very good and the service was excellent. The entertainment was what you would expect from a smaller ship but they did have some good comedians. The onboard laundry seemed to be much used (2 of the six machines were out of order) but we prefer to take enough for the trip. I would use Azamara again if they were going somewhere that other ships didn’t go.
