Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Cruise Lines

We attended the Norwegian Jade and we loved it. The whole decor was themed around Hawaiian Islands, such as Bali Hai bar and Waikiki beach pool. This ship is not for people who enjoy dressing up in tux and formal evening dress, as it is a more casual atmosphere, so just dress smart causal will be fine. We loved the Spinnaker Lounge as it has aquatic themes with swimming fish and ocean decor.

We got a gret deal from Iglu Cruise for a cruise on Norwegian Jade from Venice to Greece and Turkey. Norwegian Jade is a large modern cruise liner and is smart and well serviced. We chose NCL because of their Freestyle Cruising. I didn't want to wear a dinner jacket in the heat of the Greek Islands. Passengers can dine wherever and whenever they wish. We even chose to share a table one night, although didn't have to. There are about 12 different restraunts, of which 4 are included and the others require a suppliment of up to 25 dollars. We only ever ate in the included restraunts because the quality of the food was so good. We normally ate at the Grand Pacific Restraunt which was a la carte and included steaks and lobster on the menu. I couldn't imagine the suppliment restraunts being very much better. The cruise entertainment was OK but not great.
