Customer reviews for Disney Cruise Line
We loved our cruise on the Disney Fantasy. A beautiful ship with so many activities for young and old!! Fun, happy feel everywhere. The food in the main dining rooms can be hit and miss. But overall very good. For the price it should be excellent every evening! We wish that Cabanas was open longer. (The buffet) The food quality and selection here is fantastic 👌 The poolside food was also lovely and the tea, coffee, soft drinks are available all the time and kept well stocked and clean. Our cabin was wonderful we had a navigators verandah 7170 and it was perfect for us. We were close to the adult area of the ship, near the lifts so we had easy access to everything. It was kept clean and tidy and had plenty of space. Our balcony was perfect and had a tiny covered area to the left which was perfect if the weather wasn't so good. Its not a cheap cruise. The tipping takes a bit of getting used to. (as a Brit) we prepaid gratuities, but there is still an extra gratuity added to each drink ordered or item purchased The atmosphere was fabulous 👌 Happy, warm, the crew are wonderful, they are helpful, smiley and make you all feel special. (As you would expect from Disney) The ship itself looks beautiful, it's kept immaculate and crew are constantly cleaning and looking after your surroundings. The shows are fantastic, we were lucky enough to see Aladdin, Frozen and the final show called Believe, what a wonderful show, many classic unexpected characters appear ❤️ If we could afford it, we would definitely do another Disney Cruise!!
We had a really good time in the cruise. The children enjoyed the food and activities on the ship. The only negative thing I would say was that the gratitude’s payment of 16 dollars a day per passenger was not go. I queried it and was told that we did not have to pay it and we could pay a different amount or none if we chose not to pay. I think this should have been brought to the travellers attention before going on the cruise.
Lovely ship, and we had a great time. We had a one bedroom suite for a 3 generation family holiday, which was comfortable & gave second bathroom. Stateroom & concierge service were very good, some restaurant staff did not interact at all. The shows were exceptional, plenty of choices for quality meals. A lot of character meets, but very long queues, which caused congestion as the walkways were too narrow for the number of passengers. Disney need to work out a better system - for example virtual queuing. We had our nearly 4 year old granddaughter and she found it magical, and we benefitted from that experience. Would not recommend the Royal Court Tea, as they don’t provide enough food for everyone on the table to taste each item, and adults get just one teabag. The child aspect and entertainment were great. Despite the disappointments, we had a great time.
An amazing week on a fabulous ship 🚢
