Lounges onboard Norwegian Jewel are fabulously decorated and the careful consideration of themes and styles is clear to see. Located on Deck 6 and inspired by the Mandarin Oriental in London is Maltings Beer & Whiskey Bar, a contemporary, full bar that is equipped with low lounges and the perfect hint of mood lighting. In contrast to the sophistication of Norwegian Jewel's whiskey lounge, the FYZZ Cabaret Lounge & Bar is the place to head to for excitement, delicious drinks and three private Karaoke rooms, suitable for small groups. Lively or laid back, however you want to spend your evenings Norwegian Jewel’s 11 bars and lounges will fit the mood:
If you’d like to find an alternative to the bars and lounges, sit back, relax and prepare to be entertained by Vegas and Broadway-style shows played out against a European Art Noveau backdrop. The Stardust Theatre located on Deck 7 is where main stage entertainment takes place. The décor of this lounge is stunning with a large Art Noveau peacock gracing the main stage and the colours continuing on to adorn the rest of the lounge.
With NCL Cruises, children are welcomed onboard. Complimentary activities happen every day and offer a wealth of different things for the little ones to do. The Sapphire Kid’s Pool features slides and a paddling pool where children can splash around until their hearts’ content. For mum and dad the Sapphire Pool and hot tub area is close by so you can keep an eye on their children whilst enjoying a relaxing soak. Whether your child wants to paint, attend a pyjama party or put on a show, NCL's specially chosen team of youth staff will cater for them. And don’t worry, you can rest assured that all youth staff members are CPD and First Aid certified so your child will be safe and secure at all times.
As you would expect on a ship with so much choice, there are a number of ways to keep fit onboard Norwegian Jewel. Body Waves is a fitness centre open 24hrs with a fully equipped gym and daily aerobics and fitness classes. Other options include a jogging track, basketball, volleyball, tennis and golf driving nets. Reward yourself after a good workout with a wide range of beauty and health treatments, including the amazing hot stone massage in Bora Bora Health Spa & Beauty Salon. The treatments and techniques on offer here will rejuvenate you leaving you looking and feeling your best.
NCL pride themselves on their range of recreational facilities and activities and Norwegian Jewel is no exception to this. If you’re idea of a holiday is relaxing by the pool then you won’t be disappointed by the six whirlpools and two swimming pools located out on the deck, ideal for anyone wanting to cool off in the water or lay back with a cocktail in hand as the hours fly by.
If you’d like a little respite from the sun, head inside and you can enjoy the card room, library and video arcade. The Crystal Atrium is also an impressive place to take a stroll, and while you’re there, pop into the Galleria Shops and pick up a duty-free bargain to remind you of your amazing holiday.
Absolutely amazing trip to Australia and New Zealand. We have travelled on this ship before and we love it. The staff and entertainment were fantastic. We loved every minute. Our best holiday ever. Iglu cruise staff have been great. Excellent customer service. I cannot recommend them enough. 5 Star service
Travelled from Singapore for a weeks cruise to Kuala Lumpur Langkawi Penang and Phuket very pleased with everything on ncl ,food was very good , We then went on to have a week in Bali everything iglu did was tip top transfers etc , only disappointment was the hotel in Bali it was supposed to be 4 star but it wasn’t , we were the only room that didn’t have a balcony and you couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom and the shower dribbled out , but the hotel sense was the friendliness place I’ve stayed Chris roberts
Loved the haven suite. It exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The staff in the haven were super efficient, friendly and personable. Only issue was the courtyard was very hot but there was nothing that could be done about that. The ship in general was very good, and we particularly liked the food. The bars were good but there was a shortage of waiters and in some bars despite the waiter shortage they didn't like you going to the bar for drinks. Shore trips were dear but good. If we had any real grouse it was the relatively poor standard of entertainment. A couple of the main shows were very good but overall they were disappointing. In the bars the standard of entertainment really fell down. Sou da like we didn't enjoy the cruise but we had a lovely time, met some nice people and would definitely cruise with NCL again, especially in the have , if we could afford it again.
The. Cruise was very good the places were quite far from the ports and you had to pay for transportation the food was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful l was very disappointed with the flight times and the wait we had at the airports from 10am in the morning on the Friday till 1am on the Saturday a 5 hour wait in Dubai then our.flight back to Edinburgh surely it would have been more sensible to have 1 more night or a day in a hotel when the ship docked ? l don’t think l could ever do that trip again we were totally exhausted when we arrived back.
