Summary: Superb in every way; we especially liked the friendliness and professionalism of the crew, the delicious varied food and the wonderful theatre which was easily the equal of and , indeed, surpassed any West End establishments. We would not hesitate to recommend this ship and this Adriatic cruise to anyone. Excellent value for money and a great experience.

Summary: This is an excellent ship with plenty of space. Public areas appear to be made of high quality materials and are maintained to an impeccably clean standard. Throughout our stay all staff were friendly and helpful. Occasionally, we did encounter some minor difficulty with staff understanding us ( we are English) but we see this as part of the experience consistent with choosing a cruise line catering for a diverse range of nationalities.

The ship had a real international feel about it and appeared to have an equal proportion of guests from Italy, France, Germany, USA and the Uk, as well as numbers from Spain and the Far East. We had selected the Yacht Club option as we were celebrating our Silver Wedding, and this can only be described as amazing. It was well worth the additional cost. Our butler, Donny, was exceptional and the other plentiful staff in Yacht Club always gave suitably attentive service as well as giving really helpful advice about facilities, port destinations, etc.

The dedicated restaurant menu in Yacht Club was high quality and every meal felt special. The separate open deck area was surprising large, and was peaceful and relaxing so access to sun beds and use of the pool and spas was never an issue. A plentiful supply of complimentary cocktails made it the perfect area to relax. Sitting in the spa overlooking a port as you set sail for the next destination was a truly memorable experience as was waking up , pulling back the curtains and looking out upon a new location.

The suite with balcony that we stayed in was spacious and well equipped. It was serviced twice each day to a high standard. The well supplied complimentary mini bar was much appreciated. Each day we received a Daily Activities sheet, which was informative about onboard activities as well as details about the new visit location.

The only thing that didn't meet our high expectations was the evening entertainment. The ship has an amazing theatre and we had an expectation of what constitutes a "show". The reality was that at 7pm or 9pm guests could attend a brief 45 minute piece of entertainment. Some acts were very good it has to be said but in no way can it be compared to going to the theatre.

Overall, I would highly recommend MSC and their fantastic yacht club service. They have given us a special experience we will always cherish.
