Seabourn Cruises offer luxury cruises with the highest levels of personalised service aboard intimate, elegant ships. Operating 6-star cruises on small ships Seabourn takes guests to some of the world's most famous cities, as well as unusual ports of call, in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South Pacific, Far East, and Central and South America. With its gourmet delights, relaxing onboard activities, dazzling evening entertainment and tailor-made shore excursions helping guests make the most out of their cruise, Seabourn really do have all you need for the holiday of a lifetime.
Each and every meal onboard a Seabourn cruise is packed with high quality ingredients and authentic flavours from the regions visited along the way, passionately prepared by the expert chefs. The choice of venues on each ship means that guests will always find something to suit their tastes and with every restaurant being complimentary, you can try somewhere new every time without having to worry about the bill once you're finished.
The Restaurant- elegant dinners with classic open seating
Sushi- watch your sushi being prepared right before your eyes
The Grill by Thomas Keller- a classic American-styled menu of premium steaks and seafood thanks to the Michelin-star chef Thomas Keller
The Colonnade- casual indoor and outdoor dining.
The Patio- poolside lunch, grilled dishes and pizzas
Earth & Ocean- flavours from around celebrated under the stars every evening.
In addition, guests can also enjoy room service, perfect after busy days of exploring where you don't feel like dressing for dinner.
Seabourn has evening entertainment to suit all tastes. If you fancy catching a musical production, An Evening with Tim Rice is guaranteed to delight, while the cabaret performances in the Grand Salon and slot machines and games tables at the casino are always a hit with guests.
Alternatively, there are plenty of bars and lounges to enjoy during your cruise, such as the Patio Bar out on deck where you can sip your drink and admire the stunning ocean views as the sun sets over the ship.
From active pursuits to afternoons of relaxation, free time spent onboard a Seabourn ship is an important part of your cruise experience. If you enjoy staying fit and healthy, there are plenty of facilities to do just this. Including a gym, nine-hole putting course, pool and exercise classes such as yoga, there's no excuse to miss out on your daily workout.
However, a holiday isn't all about being on the go, so if you fancy some relaxing downtime, look no further than the onboard spa and its extensive list of treatments.
What's more, you can get more out of your cruise thanks to the enriching activities available onboard. Thanks to partnerships with the likes of UNESCO and spa and wellness experts, guests can enjoy lectures and seminars offering expert insights from important figures in their field.
During the day, the dress code on a Seabourn cruise is casual so that guests can make the most out of their shore experiences and onboard activities. After 6pm, elegant casual is expected and formal in the main restaurant. While jeans can be worn in all dining venues during the day, they aren't appropriate for evening meals.
The cruise (to the Baltic with 3 days in St. Petersburg) exceeded expectations. Seabourn Ovation was elegant but the service levels were not as high as on previous Seabourn cruises, which were on the smaller vessels. Traditionally Seabourn has distinguished itself from the competition by the quality and personal nature of its service. Sadly, this was not the case on this occasion, though overall it was a most enjoyable break, largely because of the ship itself, the ports visited and the splendid weather.

The itinerary needs to be reviewed.Although everything about the ship is excellent this particular cruise seemed to be for 2 different groups of people—those who wanted expeditions in Zodiacs and canoes and those who wanted to go on land to sightsee. The result was that neither group would have been fully satisfied unless all one wanted was to stay on board all the time. It was unfortunate that the weather prevented trips in 2 places as we couldn’t be tendered off the boat which meant even more time at sea. The overpriced Zodiac expeditions was all that was available in the North of Canada and they were very short. Some of the ports visited like Happy Valley Goose Bay seemed to be just to drop off the expedition staff and for the convenience of the cruise line as there was absolutely nothing to see there. No wonder they had not had a cruise ship in there for 13 years! The overpriced trips generally were not well thought out and need to be revised. Thank goodness that the ship ,speakers, entertainmenton on board, and staff were so good.I am rating the ship and not the trip in my score below.

This was our third cruise on board the Encore, and we loved it. Food and drinks were amazing, with no expense spared, especially at the Thomas Keller grill. Professional, yet friendly staff and a very comfortable ship. Our only slight reservations are the availability and speed of wifi connection and the quality of excursions offered, (we booked our own, independently). Rated as a 6

Nov 24 2019 Yes, this was luxury cruising. Verandah suite is a very large balcony cabin with marble fitted bathroom with twin sinks and a shower too. Top fittings everywhere. Excellent minibar service by cabin staff. Attentive without asking. No tipping sought, either here or anywhere. Dining was just lovely everywhere. The buffet was like a quiet restaurant on other cruises. Spacious with tables always available. Wine choices very good and varied, and readily served. All food requests prepared quickly and with lovely lively staff. Few used the restaurant for breakfast and this was the only let down on the whole 12 day trip. Comedy value was high though. We began counting the number of staff who inspected a food item coming out and trying to decide who it was to go to. With only about twelve tables in use there were plenty of staff and I counted six deciding who got the oatmeal. . Some management needed here, but food was great though. After two days of this fun we retired to the buffet and were just amazed at the quality, calm, and efficient experience. Evening restaurant dining was top quality also. Choices and service were great and the frequent opportunities to join a hosted table gave us many social evenings too. With only 400 guests we were often alone on corridors, lifts and in quiet bars. The afternoon tea was wonderful with food choices better than Cunard and the service was more attentive and personal. Many nice touches everywhere. The Square with daily newspapers, in full, available printed. fresh macarons every evening, wonderful coffee almost anytime. Staff to sort out your wifi problems and remembering your name for the rest of the cruise. Lovely lovely trip. Carambola beach with champagne and caviar in the surf - magic. The banana boat only a bit less so, though apart from the embarrassment of trying to get back in to the towboat, that was very jolly too. We met several people for whom this was their first cruise and they will struggle to appreciate others. We had been on about 10 cruise lines before, and Seabourn was in a different league. Yes it was expensive, but I will remember all of it fondly, and I do think it was worth the money. I would go again without hesitation. Saving already and I think we may cut down on lesser trips.
