The ship is in real terms old, having been purchased from Royal Caribbean, 1st constructed in the mid 90’s. However she has stood the test of time and is still very welcoming, for the type of cruiser that does not wants the whizz bang that the present day builds may have. The cabins are very much the same as every other ship in both design and size. However the media systems although modern flat screen, lack Video On Demand (VOD). But the Browser based, WiFi connected via all devices, notice board system worked really well. Even down to booking specialist restaurants or checking on board account. However there did not appear to be any sea based GSM mobile system. The usual minute based Wi-Fi system was available, for those who cannot do without their Internet time. The only bug bare with Wi-Fi, is the per minute pricing, when we all know data is charged by the Mbit. Just remember when travelling in Europe and some of the islands in the caribbean, this is not a problem because you can use you home plan whilst roaming. I glad to see that all the photographic based system used by the camera crew, where again accessed via the browser or dedicated tech stations. So that there was not wastage of row after row of printed photos. Entertainment onboard in all areas was varied and excellent, you can well understand why this cruise line tops the customer satisfaction in this area. Food was varied and delicious, all venues are freedom dining, this could lead to a wait at busy times. However personally I prefer this to the now out of fashion club dining. Food service was well organised but not over the top. Room servicing as always cannot be faulted, timely and efficient. Bar service was at times a little slow, but use of electronic tablet ordering led to few errors. The only bone of contention, as regards the All Inclusive (AI) bars was concerned, where chargeable items, unless you had the premium AI, at an extra £50 pppw. However some of these, if in a cocktail, would be free, very confusing. Also bottled water was chargeable, although each cabin floor had a chilled water machine. Finally the navigational staff, ie captain etc, where not very visible, which seems a little bit of a shame.

We had a fantastic time on this cruise to Greek islands, we had a mix of weather one night being particularly rough!!! we had a diversion to avoid the worse of the winds. We were kept informed about the disruption and was made to feel safe in the hands of those in charge. Only down side comment on this bad weather would be the theatre show for the evening was cancelled only near to the performance time and then told the comedian would come on stage after another half hour wait, we didnt wait but we heard that quite a few did only to be told it was not safe to be on the stage. You really needed a strong stomach to be waiting there. We enjoyed all the ports we called at and there was plenty to see without having to book excursions. We booked 2 excursions but in hindsight could of done them on or own cheaper. The length of time in port was about right we had a long day in Rhodes so was able to do an excursion and go into old town after lunch. The food on board was lovely, we mainly ate in the main dining 47 no problems getting a table. The staff here were amazing, remembering you from previous nights / breakfast and as i had a special dietary request felt at ease knowing they were looking out for my needs. lots of hand gel with people being reminded to use it. Rooms were large, clean and well looked after by the cabin steward. Who got our minor toilet problem solved quickly. Was glad i took my own body lotions etc as only shower gel provided. It was a fun ship with lots going on all day, in many areas there was something for everyone. plenty of sunbeds as well. Was nice to be able to help yourself to wine etc in the buffet area from 10am - 3 pm. sometimes the outdoor bars were busy at this time during lunch. We found all drinks included were of good quality. overall we had a wonderful experience on this ship and would definitely choose to go on this ship again.

At first I was apprehensive about TUI cruise. However that was soon put to rest. Every thing ran smoothly from start to finish. I thoythe waiting on a flight from Manchester that was delayed was a great touch. Evening Entertainment first class. Day time a bit Butlins if am honest. Stage shows top class Comedian top class Opera signer top class The live Band fantastic Piano player singer not so good Cruise Director presentation good his singing not so good. All inclusive should mean all inclusive asking to upgrade drinks package was poor and paying for coffee from deck6 again poor I am not a big drinker and enjoy a coffee could be included. On ship WiFi way over priced for service received I don’t mind paying for a service if it is fit for purpose. Ship very good rooms clean and tidy maybe a wee bit silicone refresher could be carried out. In general I would recommend TUI cruise I am sure you would have a great time
