The Sundance Film Festival in Utah, USA, is: “a wonderful vacation, whether you're travelling solo or not, such is a trip to Park City during the Sundance Film Festival. Sundance is the premier festival for independent film in the world. Park City is in the heart of ski country in Utah.
“I recommend volunteering at Sundance. Doing so, I saw 12 films without paying a cent. Plus I met other volunteers who great people to hang out with. Film watching, star watching and lots of parties. To volunteer, sign up online by early September. They give preference to past volunteers but every year they need many new people to help out.
“When you want to go skiing, there are multiple ski resorts that you can access right in the Park City. The ski lifts go right to street level. I skied just out of town at The Canyon's Resort which is the largest in Utah. The runs were phenomenal and over the course of a day, I didn't ski one twice. I did feel the elevation at first but adjusted to it fairly quickly.
“All in all, January in Park City can't be beat.”
