Roatan Island
Roatan, Honduras is a small island only two miles wide at its widest and about 35 miles long. It is a tropical island with all the vegetation one would expect. The main town of Coxen Hole is considered to be poor by most visitors, but its population is quite happy and content. One notices that many of its residents are of Caribbean island decent rather than Hispanic. Roatan is blessed with numerous beaches of a fabulous quality, and nowhere on the island are they more beautiful than on the West End.
13 Majahual, Costa Maya
Majahual, Costa Maya
Visit Costa Maya, an ancient Mayan maritime port and gateway to lush rain forests and blue lagoons. You could trek through the jungle to discover the ancient Mayan cities of Chacchoben and Kohunlich, and admire the marvellous temple adorned with magnificent stone masks. Don’t miss stunning La Palapa Beach, where you can snorkel in crystal clear waters or simply relax and soak up the sun. The local cuisine is delicious, so try Ceviche (raw conch with prawns and octopus marinated in lime juice with tomato, onion, cilantro and tostadas chips…
14 Cozumel
This Mexican paradise will delight you with its ivory beaches, swaying palms and coral reefs. You can stroll along the oceanfront promenade of San Miguel, or explore the magnificent Mayan ruins of Tulum.

Start in the Mile High City of Denver before descending into foothills of the Rocky Mountains through the Badlands, canyons and arches that give way to abandoned clifftop villages and mesas that rise up from the red valley floor.

Day 1 of Land Tour: Denver

Arrive in the Mile High City of Denver, the State capital of Colorado. Stunningly nestled between the High Plains and the majestic Rockies, Denver is one of the driest cities in America and is blessed with blue skies and snow capped peaks. On arrival transfer to your hotel, the Sheraton Denver Downtown and meet your Tour Director and travelling companions for a Welcome reception.

DAY 2 of Land Tour: Denver - Vail - Moab

Cross the Continental Divide as you travel to the resort town of Vail. This alpine village has an old-world feel and is set at the base of one of the largest ski mountains in America. Continue to Moab where, in the late 1940s, many western movies were filmed here in the rugged beauty of the cliffs. Witness the sun setting over the red cliffs or why not join an optional ride in a jet boat on the might Colorado River followed by dinner. Tonight is at BW Plus Canyons Inn. (B)

DAY 3 of Land Tour: Canyonlands and Arches National Parks Excursion

Discover stunning Canyonlands National Park and visit magnificent Arches National Park where the nature's best has eroded the sandstone into more than 2,000 natural arches. Wander through a kaleidoscope of geologic time as you watch the light play upon the ancient, multi-hued stone. Enjoy the rest of the day to discover on your own. (B)

DAY 4 of Land Tour: Moab - Mesa Verde National Park - Monument Valley

Today travel south and witness the amazing landscape dotted with natural arches and rock formations, framed by the jagged Rockies in the distance. Arriving back into Colorado from Utah, we pass the edge of the San Juan National Forest before arriving at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mesa Verde National Park. Ancestral Puebloan people carved houses and entire communities out of the sandstone along the canyon walls. Explore some of the cliff-top buildings and look down at the massive Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling in the world and learn about the culture and traditions of this once great civilisation. This evening, enjoy a unique Navajo cookout Regional Meal in Monument Valley before returning to your hotel, Goulding's Lodge. (B,D)

DAY 5 of Land Tour: Monument Valley - Grand Canyon National Park

This morning, after a tour of the Monument Valley floor in an open-air vehicle with a Local Specialist, wind your way through the ancestral home of the Navajo people, stopping at Cameron Trading Post. This afternoon, follow scenic Desert View Drive before arriving at the awe inspiring Grand Canyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Immerse yourself in the stunning panoramic views from the South Rim. This afternoon, meet with a Local Specialist who will walk you through the geologic life of the canyon and enjoy the chance to examine the multi-coloured rocks from different eras of the canyon's formation. Enjoy a farewell dinner inside the park. Accommodation will be at a National Park Lodge. (B,D)

DAY 6 of Land Tour: Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas

An early start to see the wonderful sun rising over the canyon. There are plenty of optional excursions to take so perhaps take an optional helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft flight-seeing trip to view the canyon from the sky. Later, continue along some of the remaining Route 66 hot spots, Seligman and Kingman. Driving through these desert oases is like cruising back in time to see the classic motels, diners and gas stations of a simpler time. Then it's full speed ahead to glittering Las Vegas to your hotel, Tropicana for the night. (B)

DAY 7 of Land Tour: Las Vegas - San Francisco

Transfer to the airport for your flight to San Francisco or remain at the Tropicana as per your package.

Customer reviews for Symphony of the Seas

Second time on time on the Symphony of the Seas - it's a phenomenal boat with wonderful, committed staff and a huge variety of things to do on board. Accommodation is excellent and the table of excursions for the Caribbean was outstanding. My only issue with the vessel was the food choices for Vegetarians both on the boat and on the two Islands where Royal Caribbean operate the kitchens.

Wow, what a ship. Me and mom have been on some cruises, but can honestly say thus was our best ever cruise. Fabulous. Loved it.
