Drinks

Included with meals are some soft drinks, teas and coffees but the majority of drinks are extra. If you want alcoholic drinks you have three options. You can buy drinks at the bar. You can buy a drinks package (see below). Or upgrade to the Princess Plus or Premier fares. They include a drinks package plus other packages for less than the cost of the drinks package on its own.

Wi-fi

To browse the internet on board you have three options. You can pay-as-go, buy a wi-fi package (see below) or upgrade to the Princess Plus or Premier fares where a wi-fi package is included.

Specialty Dining

Eating at the specialty dining restaurants is extra. You can pay for meals in those restaurants onboard. Or you get unlimited specialty dining meals included with the Princess Premier fare.

Tips

If you choose the Princess Standard fare, a daily service charge of $16 - $18 per person, depending on your cabin, is added to your account at the end of the cruise. If you choose the Princess Plus or Premium fare this already covered in the cost of your cruise.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Insurance

Have the peace of mind that you're covered. Contact us after you have made the booking if you would like us to add this to your package.

Parking

Car parking at the port or airport for the duration of your trip is not included within the price of the cruise. Port/airport parking can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add this to your package. An approximate cost for parking is between £12 - £20 per car per day. Alternatively we can arrange transfers from your home to the departure airport/port.

Transfers (home to port)

Transfers from your home to the port or airport aren't included but we can help organise coach transfers, taxis etc to make your life easier. Please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package.

Visa

Visas are not provided by us or the cruise operator. Visas and other travel documents have to be obtained by the individual passengers prior to sailing.

Loved my deluxe balcony cabin! Great storage (wardrobe lights up when you open the doors - really useful) and floor lighting in the bathroom useful at night. Main dining hall was really nice and well spaced out - you weren't sitting on top of each other. Also enjoyed the Teppanyaki restaurant - something different and worth spending extra for. LOVED The Dome - so, so relaxing and easy to find at the rear of the ship. Also really liked the Atrium to hang around and listen to the buzz of activity. O'Malley’s is perfect for a spot of post dinner music and craic, and also I personally liked the casino (but my wallet didn't!) with a good selection of machines and tables. Sounds strange but a real practical highlight was the lift system - lots of waiting around normally but Sun Princess has a panel where you can select your floor, the display highlighted which lift you were to use, and then that lift took you directly to your floor - it was a wonderful time saver!

Great cabin with a large shower, comfy bed and huge TV. Dining wise Teppanyaki was the best - great food and entertainment from the chef. Alfredo's Pizzeria came a close second though. This was one of the casual dining options and the food was great and there was a good atmosphere as it was set around the Piazza. During sea days I loved spending time in the Dome. This was extremely relaxing and a place to get away from the busier places onboard the ship. The pool area was also a great place with lots of hot tubs, places to get snacks and food, and they also had entertainment on the giant screens around the pool. O'Malley's Irish bar was the place to be of an evening - great band along with a great atmosphere. Movies under the Stars was another great highlight where they played films and gave you blankets to keep warm. The Medallion and app were brilliant too to order drinks and even if you move they find you!

Princess Cruises offers both traditional dining and their flexible 'Anytime Dining'. Anytime Dining is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On most Princess ships the traditional dining times are as follows: Early seating is at 5:30 p.m. 1st seating is at 6 p.m. 2nd seating is at 8:15 p.m.

Princess Cruises offers a wide range of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and low-sodium choices. Guests can notify the cruise line in advance, and the onboard dining team strives to cater to individual dietary requirements.

Cruises to and from Southampton have no specific baggage quantity limit but require each piece to weigh no more than 23kg for ease of handling. When flying to or from the ship, whether via charter or scheduled flight, luggage restrictions generally range from 20 to 23kg per person. Ensure no individual item exceeds 23kg to facilitate safe handling by the ship's crew.

Princess Cruises embraces a smart-casual approach for evenings, with occasional formal nights. Smart-casual attire includes dresses, skirts, or slacks for women, and collared shirts with dress pants for men.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking. The Special Assistance Team will email a form 6-8 weeks before departure, which must be completed and returned.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.
