Naples
Cruising into the Bay of Naples is a memorable experience. The Naples port is overlooked by the imposing Sant Elmo medieval castle, high up on Vemero Hill, as well as the 13th century Castel Nuovo, which is right next to the Naples cruise terminal in the heart of the city. Within a short walk, to the left of the terminal, are three of Naples best-known landmarks: Castel Nuovo, the 17th century Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale), and the elaborate 18th century San Carlo Opera House. To reach Naples’ fascinating old town, go straight past Castel Nuovo and then over the Piazza Municipio.

With its casual affluence, flower-lined streets, flourishing markets, and interesting museums (the Musée Chagall and Musée Matisse are highlights), Nice is a charming introduction to the spirit of the Côte d’Azur. Stroll along its wide sunny boulevards, broken here and there by shady gardens and parks. Or stop for bouillabaisse, a specialty of the area, in a local restaurant.

The Cruise was brilliant and the staff were fantastic, very kind and friendly. The food was outstanding. Have already recommended to friends.

Not my best cruise experience. Firstly my luggage was left off the plane to Barcelona. Attending Captain’s gala dinner in. T shirt was not ideal.I finally received it 2 days later and had to pay 99 euros to have the bag delivered to the boat. The ship was very tired and needed basic maintenance and TLC. Some cruise ships age gracefully the Sovereign has not. My cabin steward never introduced himself. Excursions overpriced as somewhat disappointing. On the plus side, the food was quite good and our 2waitresses were exceptional. Overall, I would not book a Pulkmantur cruise again.

Spanish guests so so loud, had to move cabin, screaming baby in next room allowed to cry all night. Hot tubs on deck col water jets. Food not varied enough.had been on zenith ship and had been more than satisfied. On sovereign times for lunch and breakfast were constantly changed. Shows started at 10pm which was too late even for first sitting diners. Getting drinks in main bar virtually impossible with not enough staff. very disappointed and would not go on this ship again.
