Pre-cruise measures with Seabourn include COVID-19 testing, further medical screening at the cruise terminal and staggered boarding times to allow for social distancing between guests.
Onboard, enhanced cleaning protocols will include frequent sanitation of high touch points, public areas and suites, as well as hand washing stations placed across the ship. Ventilation systems will be optimised to ensure clean, fresh air throughout.
Social distancing will be facilitated throughout Seabourn ships, and masks will be necessary where this isn't possible. Additional measures will included changes to food and drinks service.
Throughout each cruise, crew health will be monitored through check ups, temperature checks and COVID-19 tests.
Seabourn have developed an emergency response plan should any cases of illness arise. This plan includes access to medical care and quarantine accommodation should it be needed.
Prior to disembarkation, guests will be required to undergo health checks. If there is a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus once the cruise has finished, all those who may have been in close contact will be notified.
