Scarlet Lady is designed for young Americans. It's not for experience, senior cruisers unless they want a phone in their hand all day, to do anything and everything on the stupid App. Also, very difficult to find a comfortable chair or a place where one's space is not invaded by loud music.

Everything on Virgin cruises depend on an App which is rubbish. There is no paper on board, no welcome pack, no information about restaurants, no cabin menu's, I am on holiday, I don't want to spend every minute looking at my phone to know where I am or to know what might be happening, to order a drink or food, or to book a table in a restaurant or to book a seat in a show. And why can I only visit a restaurant of my choice once during the 'cruise'.
The seating throughout the ship is 50% stools and 50% uncomfortable chairs and the plastic 'garden chairs' in the Razzle Dazzle Cafe, (which is like a prison eating room with long tables seating a dozen people) are a joke, but not funny, nor was the bacon that came in a mug !!!. The 'buffet' facility on deck 15 provides inedible food. (the worst burger I have ever seen and a dead white, leather like omelette, which was served 30 seconds before our starter course of soup which was also inedible).....(The waiter smiled knowingly as she apologized).
The public toilets have black floor, black walls, black doors, black urinals, black basins and stupid lighting, I walked into a full length mirror trying to find my way out !!! The man that designed the toilets had obviously never been in a public toilet. The ship was apparently designed by a team who had never been on a cruise, that was quite obvious, they omitted to provide tea and coffee facility in cabins. I was advised that I should order room service at 05.00 am if I needed a drink, but I don't want to be confronted by a waiter at that time in the altogether !!!, A kettle is a fundamental basic in any hotel room, B&B, tent etc, There was no shaver point in bathroom, and so much more that failed to impress. Go to Miami Scarlet Lady and Good Riddance.
