We cruised the Irrawady River on the Princess Panhwar at the end of September 2016. The ship is in excellent condion and the facilities are are just as good. Hygiene measures are top rate. Every staff member on the ship - from Captain to cleaners - was absolutely superb and there was nobody who you could pick out as oursatnding as they were all so good. Nothing was too much trouble and even after long and arduous hours at work they always seve you willingly and with a smile. The meals are delicious and well presented and the drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at meal times were plentiful. The Chef found out that we would have liked genuine Burmese food and made a special dish for us. The Restaurant Manager Kyaw should be truly proud of the excellent services provided. We have cruised on the ocean and on rivers several times and this ship and the staff were by far the best.

Large (for the Irrawaddy) river cruise ship, 36 spacious cabins. We had one of two suites which had a large forward facing balcony with table and chairs. Lots of floor to ceiling windows made it an excellent for views of the passing countryside. Huge comfortable bed, two armchairs, fitted wardrobes to one wall, refrigerator and personal safe. We also had, tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was HUGE, with two sinks and a corner shower big enough for six people. Nice range of toiletries (Locitane) the only criticism was the towels although new were a bit on the thin side. Upper deck had covered area with settees, tables chairs, tea coffee available all day from the bar. The lounge was also on this deck with armchairs and settees. The restaurant was on the lower deck self service for breakfast, there was an omelette/egg station cooked on request. Lunch was buffet style first and dessert course, your choice of main course was served at the table. Dinner was a La Carte and served at your table. Food was excellent. The staff were always smiling and nothing too much trouble.
