Day 1 of Land Tour – Seattle
Fly to Seattle, where on arrival transfer to your hotel in downtown Seattle. This evening join your tour director and fellow travelling companions for a welcome meeting.

Day 2 of Land Tour – Seattle - Mount Rainier National Park
Drive by private vehicle to nearby Mt Rainier National Park. There will be plenty of time to explore the park on one of its many hiking trails including the Skyline, Nisqually Vista, or Bench/Snow Lake Trail.

Day 3 of Land Tour - Mount Rainier National Park – Wallace
This morning, continue East through Washington State. There is a short stop in scenic Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. With its beautiful lakeside setting and charming streets of boutiques there will be some time to stroll around. Later arrive in the quirky town of Wallace. Officially it has been made ‘The Centre of the Universe’. Pose for photos on the plaque in the middle of the road. This is an old silver mining region and it has been preserved almost as it was in the 1800’s.

Day 4 of Land Tour – Wallace - Glacier National Park
Admire the passing scenery as you arrive in Montana and continue to Glacier National Park, Big Sky Country. Visit this largely untouched land, referred to as the “Crown of the Continent Ecosystem”. Explore the vast national park, encompassing pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountain ranges and spectacular lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including mountain goats and grizzlies.(D)

Day 5 of Land Tour - Glacier National Park
Explore Glacier NP with its many glaciers, lakes and streams. Perhaps join an optional drive to Going-to-the-Sun Road and reach the Continental Divide. With over 20 glaciers and 200 lakes and streams, Glacier National Park is a must see. Choose from 730 miles of hiking trails to really enjoy this majestic park.(B,L,D)
Day 6 of Land Tour - Glacier National Park – Bozeman
Leave Glacier National Park behind as your tour heads south to the university town of Bozeman, Montana. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the town.(B,L)

Day 7 of Land Tour – Bozeman - Yellowstone National Park
Today enter the through the northern section of Yellowstone National Park. The ride can be slow-going due to all the stopping for bears, elk and bison that might be on the roadside. Explore the Northern Loop in Yellowstone National Park, which features beautiful scenery, exciting wildlife and spectacular hydrothermal features. Tour the ever-maturing Mammoth Hot Springs, walk the Porcelain Basin trail through Norris Geyser Basin and discover the impressive waterfalls and natural colours of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone!(L,D)

Day 8 of Land Tour - Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone is beyond special. Geysers, waterfalls, wildlife, and scenic beauty are around every corner just waiting to be explored. In fact, Yellowstone National Park is a super volcano with the world’s largest active geyser field, boasting more than 10,000 geysers. The Park is also home to more wild animals than almost anywhere else in the U.S., including roaming bison, grey wolves, elk, black bears and grizzly bear. Spend the day discovering the impressive natural phenomenon within the park.(B,L,D)
Day 9 of Land Tour - Yellowstone National Park – Jackson
Cross the Continental Divide and enjoy the view on this beautiful drive. Towering above pristine lakes and alpine terrain, the Teton Range includes more than 12 peaks at an elevation greater than 12,000 ft (39370m). Late afternoon, reach Jackson and marvel at the town square’s elk antler arches. In the evening, enjoy a night out with a true wild western atmosphere at the One Million Dollar Bar.(B)
Day 10 of Land Tour Jackson – Boise
Pull off the highway and prepare to get transported to another planet. Craters of the Moon National Monument is a series of lava flows created 15,000 years ago that greatly resembles the surface of the moon. A previous training ground for astronauts, get out and explore the dramatic landscapes of the area.

Arrive in Bend and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 12 of Land Tour – Bend – Eugene
There is an early start to enjoy a few hours at Crater Lake National Park. Considered by scientists to be the cleanest and clearest large body of water in the world and the deepest lake in the US at 1943 ft, Crater Lake is sure to impress. The lake rests in a dormant volcano – explore this National Park on a number of short hikes to viewpoints.

Day 13 of Land Tour Eugene – Portland
Drive north to the city of Portland. The city is an artsy, funky and is full of great eating and drinking options. Spend the afternoon getting to know this charming city.

Day 14 of Land Tour – Portland – Seattle
There will be free time this morning to enjoy Portland before travelling back to Seattle. Enjoy a free morning to discover this quirky city. Opt to visit the Saturday market, take a food tour, stop by local breweries, visit Washington Park, or go shopping – the options are endless! Why not join everyone for an optional dinner this evening in Seattle?
