The fairy-tale kingdom of Monte Carlo glitters with opulence and jet-set glamour, and the action centres around its famed casinos. Inside, under gilt-edged ceilings and ornate frescoes, fortunes are made or lost. Elsewhere in Monaco are the Prince’s Palace, from which the Grimaldi dynasty has ruled since 1297; the Cathedral where Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier; and the Rock of Monaco, where gardens cascade to the sea.

During the Middle Ages, Amalfi was a bustling maritime state (the ship compass was invented here) with a population of 50,000. Today, it draws crowds and raves for the beauty of its setting, perched on a deep gorge, along the most romantic drive in all Italy; and its Duomo, which mixes Moorish and early-Gothic influences.

Perched on the side of Monte Tauro, the town offers fantastic views of the coast and Mt. Etna volcano. Below the town are excellent beaches where you can swim in the clear sea water.

Probably one of the best holidays ever been on. Ship superb as usual ,entertainment staff second to none.Food best we’ve had at sea and the speciality restaurants are all,free..Prizes for quizzes are good ones..Ports visited were excellent.Would do the same cruise again. Everything went according to plan.
A great ship, service and food amazing, the entertainment was a bit sparce as only one show per night, but I guess the people who cruise with Oceania are not that interested in entertainment its all about food!
