Staff Review - My balcony cabin was very spacious, modern and elegant with lots of great technology as you could control the TV, lighting, temperature and curtains with the iPad provided. The Wake is a must when it comes to dining with fantastic succulent steaks to die for and Gunbae for great Korean BBQ and fun drinking games with other diners at the table. The variety of dining options was a real highlight in general with everything included in the price and even ice cream and great pizza available until 2am. The main pool was great too with lovely music setting the scene, comfy beds/seats with lots of room and great cocktails from the bar nearby. The Slam Allen Blues band was our favourite entertainment at On The Rocks with great blues music while live performances at the Red Room were really spectacular too! Michele, Commercial

Staff Review - The hammocks on the balcony are really cool and the technology in the cabin is good too with pretty much everything controlled from a tablet - lights, heating, TV etc - super modern and easy! The main thing to say about dining was I tried to book the best one to celebrate my partner’s birthday but this proved impossible - they’re all the best one! From steak to Korean BBQ to Mexican - we just had to try everything. The 2 most unique ones though are Gunbae, great on the first night for meeting people with the social drinking games, and The Test Kitchen for something different. We also enjoyed the music and atmosphere by the pools and the longer time in ports than other cruise lines. We did an organised bar crawl the first night in port - great for meeting people and then spent the rest of the cruise doing things with our new pals. All the shows are really good too - Lola's Library and Another Rose in particular. The age demographic is what sets this apart from other cruises for me as well and gives it a completely different vibe with mostly 30s/40s. Phil, IT

Staff Review - I loved that you could adjust the cabin to a sofa area for hanging out during the day without a bed taking up all the space. You could do this yourself or request via a button on the app and a member of staff would change this for you. I also loved that the tablet in the room controls the lighting, curtains, music, TV etc. Really modern feature! I’m also a big fan of the balcony hammock - would happily spend the whole cruise on that! When it comes to dining, the Wake and Gunbea were my favourites. The Wake has amazing views, service and food. Hard to believe that everything is included (apart from specials such as Caviar or specialty steak)! Gunbae also boasts great food and the hosts were entertainers. You sat on a table of 8 with other guests and the focus was on socialising with them over a free drinking game and what seemed like an endless amount of food. During the daytime I preferred to relax around the pool with plenty of comfortable seats and hot tubs or head to the Social Club to play board games and have a go on the retro arcade games also free to play. There are a lot of places on the ship to sit and relax, it never feels massively busy or crowded (only the pool on the sea day, but even then there are so many places you can go where it feels like you are the only ones on the ship). In the evenings Persephone Show in the Red Room is a must - absolutely amazing standing theatre show and immersive experience. Was not expecting it at all and it did not disappoint! I also loved the Mind Mangler show here - a hilarious and interactive comedy show. Other big pluses were all the staff are very happy, friendly and helpful and check-in is super quick and easy. Staff took our luggage straight away (even though we were 3 hours early) and it was outside our cabin as soon as we got onboard (all you need is your passport and cabin number, no other paper documents or references required) - this system was brilliant throughout the whole trip at each destination too. Staff Review - The cabin was fab with a very comfy bed and lots of great storage space. The hammock on the balcony was a wonderful treat to relax with a coffee while taking in the views! My top restaurant was Pink Agave’s delicious Mexican food! Brunch at the Wake was also outstanding - great service, food and Bloody Marys. We took a few classes in the gym which were very positive and well run. Otherwise we were off ship exploring on our own. I loved all of the live music and entertainment around the ship, not just in the night clubs and theatres. This was the easiest and most relaxing cruise ever. Castella
