11 Jun 2025
Great cruise, the food was superb together with the friendliness and efficiency of the crew. Ship was modern clean and easy to negotiate
Plenty of bars and food choices to explore, quiet areas, busy areas.
Mixed nationality was good, although felt the quizzes in the sports bar were very much aimed at American sailors.
Enjoyed some of the entertainment, but some was a bit silly and “game show” at times. London comedian was excellent. Dancers were enthusiastic and talented. Excellent and powerful singers
Excursion to Istanbul were full on and well planned. Although 2-3 hour traditional lunch on day one was over the top, food was good but felt we were missing seeing the sights, second day lunch was much more sensible
Initially felt overwhelmed by the messages received from Virgin prior to the cruise, mixed up with adverts and promotions. Didn’t know if they were relevant to me or just junk mail.
Thought the app while on board was excellent as well as the wrist band, easy to track and see what was happening.

10 Jun 2025
The virgin crew staff were the best ever and more crew were on this ship than any other cruise lines I have been on, they are also more friendly.
the balcony cabins are poor with a 1 meter square box fixed to the floor for a drawer only. hence no settee and only one chair in the room. the balcony has 2 airport style chairs metal on it.
there are no sharing tables at evening meals they are designed for couples or groups if you arranged your voyage with others. we could not book a evening meal before 9. 15 even 2 weeks before the cruise date. and tried to change it on board but the virgin APP says no available spaces.
the ship social spaces are like club entertainment with guitarist in small areas with very limited shows.
the ship is very modern and stable, most passengers were in the 20 to 30 age group , hence only discos. so best for young passengers.
