Wonderful experience on QM2. Hotels and transfers arranged by Iglu were first class, no complaints. Will definitely recommend and travel with Iglu again.

A few hiccups, but Cunard kept us informed fairly well.

Koala Sanctuary
Spanning 18 hectares, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was founded in 1927. The largest and oldest of its kind, there are over 80 different species that call it their home. A tranquil attraction within easy reach of the city centre, it makes for a fun day out.
Botanic Gardens
Situated at the heart of the city, the Brisbane Botanical Gardens are surrounded by skyscrapers and provide a welcome break from the hustle and bustle. Top highlights within the gardens include the ornamental ponds and bamboo grove.
Gallery of Modern Art
Located in the Queensland Cultural Centre on Kurilpa Point next to the popular Queensland Art Gallery, the modern art gallery is the largest of its kind in Australia. Within it, amongst an array of exhibits and collections, there is a cinematheque.

Not only is the region home to the Great Barrier Reef, but a number of bustling markets, beaches and a vibrant food scene. Top highlights in Cairns include the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Cairns Aquarium.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
Take to the sky on the incredible Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Spanning 7.5 kilometres, it takes you high above the picturesque Gorge National Park within Queensland’s iconic World Heritage Area; the Wet Tropics Rainforest, that’s also known as the oldest tropical rainforest in the world. Taking around 1.5 hours to reach Kuranda, along the way you can stop off in two areas to explore the forest.
Kuranda Railway
One of the most iconic railways in the world, the Kuranda Railway takes you from Cairns to Kuranda along a heritage listed line. Built in 1891, it offers breathtaking views over the Barron Falls, alongside several towns. Taking just under 2 hours, this 37 kilometre journey is simply magical.
Cairns Aquarium
Alternatively you could head to Cairns Aquarium, that’s situated in the heart of the city. Recently opened, there are over 15,000 different animals throughout the zoo, 71 tanks and 3 different levels to explore.
Darwin

Bitung

Situated on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, Bitung is a vibrant city that’s beloved for its crystal-clear waters, thriving marine life and other spectacular natural wonders. In particular, it has ‘colour-changing’ wears at the beautiful Lake Linow. Other top attractions near Bitung include the Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre, Ban Hin Kiong Temple and the Lembeh Strait.

Wildlife Rescue Centre
Located at the north tip of the island, Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre is home to hundreds of animals. A rehabilitation centre in which they recover in before they are released back into the wild, there are deer, warthogs, monkeys, leopards and other incredible animals living here.
Ban Hin Kiong Temple
With stunning architecture, a fascinating history and host to various festivals, the Ban Hin Kiong Temple is well worth venturing to when in Bitung. Built during the Chinese Qing Dynasty in 1819, the temple is a popular attraction with both locals and visitors alike.
Lembeh Strait
A prominent strait in Indonesia, the Lembeh Strait divides the islands of Lembeh and Sulawesi. From the water, you’ll not only see the iconic Tangkoko Volcano, but the town of Bitung and the region's vast marine life. Thean Hou Temple
