This is a true cruise liner, not a hotel complex on a raft! From the moment we entered the Cunard complex ,to embark, we were treated like valued clients not cattle. Our stateroom was large very well fitted and exceedingly comfortable. The ship is spacious with excellent decor, everything is kept cleen and tidy. Like all cruise ships, 24hr our buffet eating is available but I would recommend having your meals in the Britannia Restaurant. The quality of the food and service are incredible and the setting is very like being on the set of an Agatha Christy film. Don't miss the only onboard planetarium in the world or afternoon tea served by white gloved waters! For those of you who are worried about rough sea conditions, you can be assured of a smooth journey on this ship. We very much enjoyed our holiday to Norway and we look farward to traveling again with Cunard.

We took the Transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York in July. The experience was quite amazing and it was clear why most people we met seemed to have made the journey a number of times. The service was wonderful from our first encounter with Edwin our steward to the many staff we met in the restaurants and bars. I was struck by how proud people seemed to be to be working for Cunard, even though it is but a small part of a much larger company. In anticipation, a week in the middle of the ocean may seem a strange prospect, but there was always something to do, and spaces to be alone. The sense of following others who have made this important voyage is evident in the lecture programme and in the many works of art and information that can be found on the ship. Highlights, the food has to be one, watching school after school of dolphins cavort in front of the bows of the ship in the middle of the Atlantic, and of course the famous entry into New York harbour. Would I do it again? You bet!

Having had a cruise on the Queen Mary 2 in July. We went to Norway. It was a great trip and would go again. The ship was spotless, the food was of a very high standard, the staff looked after your every need. The cabin with balcony, was once again spotless. The fish 'n' chips in the Kings Court was very moreish. You could buy a variety of reasonably priced gifts onboard the ship. The entertainment was of a high standard and one of the highlights of the trip was the afternoon cream teas. The formal evenings were great and it was nice to be dressed up.

Queen Mary 2, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the start of my journey I couldn't belive the splenda of this cruise liner. The dining experience is in a class of it own, every meal we had was exceptional. The afternoon tea served in the Queens Room was splendid. From boarding the ship to the end of the hoiliday, nothing was too much trouble for the staff , they really made every passenger feel special. If I had any downfalls its only a slight one, that the entertainment in the theater wasn't to my taste, however it was full of passengers twice every night, so lots of people did enjoy it.

Luxury. Having been fortunate enough to purchase our tickets for ÂŁ599 including a balcony, flights and transfers from JFK we were slightly sceptical of what we would find. However, everything was first class from beginning to end with the little touches such as the chocolates on the pillow each night to the attentive waiters at dinner. Throughout the ship all the crew were smartly turned out, polite and very helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We did not use room service for food but others who did said it was delivered quickly and hot. All in all a fantastic time and we cannot wait until next summer to go again.

We recently took our first ever cruise Westbound, Southampton to NY on the QM2. Before we even boarded the ship we were astounded at the size of the vessel and impressed by the check-in & baggage handling procedure. Everything exceeded our expectations from the Stateroom to the food. Nothing was too much trouble for our cabin steward or waitress or any of the other staff. The weather was not brilliant but the voyage was an excellent and unforgettable experience. IGLU booked us a 3 night stay at the Helmsley on Park Lane, this proved to be an excellent choice being adjacent to Central Park and quite handy for visiting the other sights of NYC.

We took the transatlantic cruise to New York on the Queen Mary 2 on June 3, 2011. Without a doubt it was one of the most enjoyable experiences that we have had on our numerous travels. The ship is magnificent, the rooms are immaculate and the entertainment, first rate. You are spoilt for choice as to what to do next. The staff was wonderful and couldn't do enough to make your trip memorable. The only fault was the choice and quality of food in the Britannia restaurant which was a shame as it wouldn't take much to change this one short coming. Saying that, we wouldn't hesitate to do it all again. WOW!

Flew to New York City (Hotel in Manhattan) with Delta Airlines, for 4 days, returning Transatlantic on Queen Mary 2. Everything beyond expectations. Very satisfied with Iglu Cruise, Holiday Inn on 57th Street and, of course, Queen Mary 2. Thoroughly pleased. Great Liner. Looking forward to joining her yet again for sailing to Norway.
