It is a lovely ship, most of the areas on board were in pristine condition, carpet area along stateroom corridors need replacing. The restaurants are lovely places to eat, only problem we had was that the buffet (lido) food was always Luke warm.. Spa facilities, wonderful, though at times really busy.. Entertainment was good, just a shame that the costumes they wore were shabby, two dancers had holes in their tights, another had hem on their costume crooked, and twice zips came apart whilst they were dancing.. this was more noticeable when sitting closer to the stage. The shopping mall very disappointing and extremely expensive!

Having just returned from our 4 night cruise to Rotterdam we have slightly mixed feelings about it. After months of building up to my husbands retirement present of a Queens Suite, it didn’t quite meet the expectations that we had, given the fact we had travelled on the QM2 and Victoria and had seen others enjoy the Grills Suites. We arrived and queued with everyone else and when we got on board we were told to go to the Buffet at Lido. We then went to our room and didn’t really know what we would do or what we could expect. The room itself was lovely, cannot fault it except for terrible vibrations as we literally were on a slow boat. Dinner in the Grills was nice, nobody really explained to us what we had access to during the trip being Grills guests during the day, there was no meeting with the crew etc so it felt a little deflating as in hindsight we should have just booked a balcony suite for half the price. The ship is a little tired looking, the food was not that varied but we suspect this is because it was a short trip. The daytime activity was poor and not a lot to do and the evening shows were mediocre. I think you could spend your money better.
