Fabulous cruise with Queen Anne. The service was the best anywhere. Dining or food hall you had plenty to eat. The style & decor of the boat was luxury. The areas to sit & relax & listen to calm music I felt was my best part.

Lovely ship with fantastic staff. Lots of seating and public space even on sea days. The stateroom was excellent and shower was huge for a ship. Food very good. Theatre entertainment needs to be rethought as it's generally skewed to the over 70s. People complained the ship was too modern compared to other Cunard ships. We thought it wasn't modern enough. Cunard have a dilemma as they need to attract new people on board and we are early 50s and thought we were 15 years too young. Nevertheless, a lovely new ship, and we enjoyed our holiday.

We usually choose to sail with Cunard. The choice of their ships sailing from Southampton is now reduced so Queen Anne is often our only choice. The staterooms are good, the balcony is very private. Tea and coffee in the room is much appreciated. The staff have always been lovely. However, the lifts are totally inadequate for the number of guests on board, the shops are dire, having to queue to have everything served to you in the Artisan’s Food Hall is ridiculous and doesn’t happen on the Queen Victoria and the increasing upselling in the restaurant is becoming tedious.

As expected, Queen Anne is a beautiful ship. Crew were effective and welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The welcome bubbly is a nice touch. I paid for an upgrade from inside to ocean view and was lucky to get one of the two ocean view rooms with full windows. Though slightly instructed this was nice. Good selection of bars/restaurants, the Golden Lion being a favourite. Main dining room food was occasionally disappointing. The 'always available' steak was presented very poorly with only a few frozen chips. Despite a warning by the waiter, I ordered pheasant, which was overcooked (clearly not just mine!) I wasn't blown away by the food. Similarly, theatre entertainment fell somewhat short for me, very 50/50, though the guest speakers were in the main excellent My biggest complaint was that twice during the cruise, when returning from shore, we were subject to long queues, once in the rain! It was clear that separate boarding arrangements were needed for the many wheelchair users, as using the same gangway caused significant delays. Cunard have been around long enough to have learned how to deal with this. Another issue was a delay was caused because the gangway was moving lie a 'seesaw' and only 2 person allowed on. This 'safety' issue could have been dealt with by better positioning the gangway! When asked we were told it was an issue with movement caused by tides??? A lovely ship, great crew, nice cruise and most people we met were Cunard devotees and would go nowhere else. (Some complained the Queen Anne was too modern?) We didn't have a bad cruise, but I found issues that disappointed me from such a long standing cruise provider

Cunard Queen Anne 8th June 2025 A cruise ship of contrasts from excellent to not my cup of tea. Britania Club Restaurant, the staff are amazing the service is up there with the very, very best, under the watchful eye of Assistant Maître d Hotel Mahesh Shetty (who Flambéed for the restaurant, excellent), Head Waiter Sajith Neeliyat, Waiters Faith, Assistant Waiter Prince, Wine Semelia and everyone else. However, I am sorry to say the food was inconsistent from Excellent to very average. Entertainment for us was hit and miss, for example the Pavillion with the big screen, the sound was on mute! Given reason, complaints that some people could not hear conversations and others just wanted to read in peace without music. The atmosphere was flat, QA needs to find a balance and I think it will. The entertainments Team of which we were told there were 3 of them seemed to go to bed early as one of them told us when we asked where they were when we got the party started in the Pub they replied; I was in bed! Again, I think they will fix it. The ship is amazing with many areas to suit all tastes, QA has to be brave, guests want to do what they want to do in every area of the ship, unfortunately, the areas have specific moods and atmosphere. If you want a quiet chat or read a book, go to a quiet area, it may not be in the Pavilion, there is always somewhere else after all QA does not put music on in the library. Another example, the new technology Silent Disco, finally we got one! The last night at 10. 15pm in Queens, if felt like the concept was ‘one step beyond’, be brave QA there are many venues pop up silent disco is amazing fun. The World of Drinks package was a bit Disney ‘It’s a small, small world’ it needs serious attention, no flexibility with cocktails, the bar staff were menu driven, many drinks just outside the $13. 50 ceiling, very frustrating. Cunard Queen Anne is an amazing ship, she has many outstanding venues, be brave, with care and forethought all needs can be catered for, for us ‘you just haven got there yet’ however an amazing experience aboard Queen Anne.

Open dining - still had to be booked and was already fully booked between 5. 45 pm and 7. 45 pm by the first day on board. Shower room - shower was excellent. Sink was very small causing a lot of water on the floor. Dining - food was excellent. Service was almost always very good. Seating in buffet area was just like a bland canteen.

A smart medium sized ship so walking from one end to the other was not difficult. Similarly, finding your way around was straightforward. Plenty to do with some first class entertainment. Our trip to the North Cape was a " must do" for us and we were thrilled to have sailed into the Arctic Circle and experience polar daylight and midnight sun. You need to consider the timing of your cruise if you want to experience this.
