Dining

Prepare to be thoroughly spoilt by the huge choice of innovative and flexible dining options onboard Quantum of the Seas. There are 11 restaurants to choose from, some of which are complimentary, and some speciality restaurants which have an additional cost.

There are four main dining rooms onboard Quantum of the Seas, which are Chic, Silk, Grande, and American Icon. Each of these serves delicious food in a variety of styles, in a comfortable and friendly environment.

For a casual dining experience or a quick bite on-the-go, passengers can pick up a tasty hot dog at Seaplex Dog House (the first food truck at sea), grab some well-deserved coffee and cake at Café Promenade or sail your way through the varied World food islands at the Windjammer Marketplace. For scrumptious New York style pizza, pop over to Sorrento’s, or Café @ Two70° offers gourmet salads, sandwiches and soups, which you can choose to eat in or take away in picnic form to enjoy elsewhere on the ship.

To top off your dining experience there are several speciality restaurants onboard, including the popular restaurant by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian, serving your favourite classic Italian dishes as well as some creative, lesser-known options. For a super healthy option, choose the Solarium Bistro which boasts low calorie, health-conscious dishes designed by media personality, weight loss expert and chef, Devin Alexander. Chops Grille is a steadfast royal Caribbean favourite, with a menu of perfectly prepared steaks and fish dishes.

For a unique dining experience, head to the magical Wonderland, which offers creative cuisine inspired by tales from down the rabbit hole, a unique experience not to be missed and perfect for a birthday celebration. Izumi Japanese Cuisine offers an A la carte menu, ideal for freshly made sushi and sashimi. For an extra special dining option, book a place at the Chef’s Table where you will be presented with gourmet delicacies by the head Chef himself. There will also be an experienced Sommelier on hand to recommend the finest wine pairings for your food. Coastal Kitchen is a dining venue reserved exclusively for suite guests.

Entertainment

Two70° is a mind-boggling venue which acts as a lovely social hub during the day - complete with a gorgeous sea view thanks to panoramic windows - before transforming into a one-of-a-kind entertainment spot in the evening. When the sun goes does, technological projections appear on the screen to perfectly complement the entertainment taking place. This could be anything from live music and theatrical productions to jaw-dropping acrobatic displays. Another must when it comes to entertainment is the stunning Roboshow. This captivating production sees six screens move with live dancers in a carefully choreographed display of technology and human skill. The Royal Theatre is the main location for shows and other performances - be sure to find out what's on here throughout your cruise.

The Music Hall is another great venue for some less structured entertainment. It's an inviting and more intimate bar which is home to regular live performances, DJ sessions, and theme nights. Come along to sing along, dance, and get to know fellow guests. The Music Hall is also used for onboard activities such as workshops and dance classes.

Among the many bars onboard is the innovative Bionic Bar - a futuristic venue in which your cocktail will be hand-crafted by a mechanical arm! The single robotic arm can get ice, mix drinks and shake them into the ultimate liquid treat. Located inside The Bionic Bar, guests will order their cocktail on a tablet and then sit back and watch in awe as these human-like machines make their cocktails of choice.

For an evening of glamour and gambling, go along to the Casino Royale. Here you can play a range of table games with cards, dice, and a wheel, or why not try your luck on the slot machines?

Family

Head to the Seaplex for thrilling family fun. This zone is home to a full-sized basketball court, bumper cars, and a roller-skating area which turns into a vibrant roller disco in the evenings. In this area, you'll also find a trapeze course, on which guests can try their hand at this exciting circus talent.

Let little ones have fun making friends with others their own age at the onboard kid's clubs. Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean and Royal Babies programs ensure that mini-cruisers are kept occupied with great activities, all while under the safe supervision of well-trained staff. Plus, while children are hanging out at the kid's clubs, adults can enjoy some time spent relaxing in the adults-only solarium, an area boasting a pool, whirlpools, plenty of sun loungers, and a cafe.

Things to do

Spa and fitness

As well as staying active with the wealth of exhilarating activities onboard, cruisers who enjoy more structured fitness regimes can make use of the gym facilities, sports courts, jogging track, and pools. Then, after working out, be sure to spend some time in the Vitality at Sea Spa, in which you can simply relax on a lounger, or arrange to be pampered with a treatment such as a massage, facial, or manicure.

Recreation

Quantum of the Seas offers a wealth of exciting things to do, so no matter what kind of cruise any given guest is looking for, the ship will certainly deliver. Choose from exhilarating activities including bumper cars, an indoor skydive, and an elevating pod known as the North Star, which raises guests 300 feet above sea level - to name but a few.

Popular things to do onboard include indoor skydiving on Ripcord by iFly, surfing on Royal Caribbean's famous surf-simulator; the Flowrider, and taking on the rock-climbing wall.
