My wife and I enjoyed the whole experience. Our only disappointment were the evening dancing sessions. Marta and Marco made no effort to encourage customers onto the dance floor and failed to inform those like us who might wish to dance but were unsure which dances were appropriate to the music being played.

Our first time on a cruise and we couldn't have been more happy. Everything from booking to disembarkation was done for ease and convenience of the passenger. The crew on board Britannia were fantastic - attentive and willing to help. Food and drink were first rate. The embarkation process was extremely efficient, the staff at the car park pleasant and helpful, the queuing and checking in staff were amazing, making a usually stressful process, remarkably painless. Although Britannia is a big ship - some 3000 passengers -the ship never felt busy or crowded. We enjoyed a variety of the entertainments on offer and again, never felt rushed or over subscribed. The cabins were perfect for our needs as a couple. The balcony was spacious enough to sit out and enjoy the scenery. We booked 4 trips and enjoyed them immensely. They were good value and gave us an insight into Norway. The process for getting passengers on and off ship and through security was very efficient. We never felt stressed or worried we would miss our coach. We enjoyed the experience so much, that we booked another cruise whilst on board!

A bit dated in places particularly the cabin although it was very clean. Bars and public areas were beautifully laid out and decorated and had a welcoming feel. Food was very nice but I feel portion sizes have become smaller. Fine for me but my husband could have eaten more!

Excellent ship, clean, good food and friendly crew. Good itinerary and the excursions allowed for us to see some great parts of Norway. A relaxing holiday that we enjoyed.

My daughter and I were presently surprised with Britannia. The decor etc was planned to create a comfortable environment. My adapted cabin was huge and the steward was great. All the meals were lovely and not too big. I had read reviews from the speck of dust brigade . God knows what’s wrong with these people. very sad. Weather was kind and the local people we met were great. All in all a memorable 7 days.

Had a week on the ship. Service excellent, food good, lots of onboard things to do, no big “show” more entertainers. No promenade deck but open space at rear, and middle top decks by pool, which felt cramped for sightseeing at fjords (was not but somehow felt it). Had (large) inside cabin and it was very good indeed, lots of storage and hanging space and the bathroom while small was perfectly fine with a great shower. Room service (cleaning etc) amazing. Cannot really fault the ship. It does not feel as open and spacious as the Royal Caribbean ones as the atrium is open for three floors. The colour scheme is perhaps a bit dark tones as well (gentleman’s club) but the trim is lighter as is the crows nest. Drink an are uk pub prices and therefore very reasonable. I did not have. Drinks package but had wine and Costa coffee (my tipple of choice) All things a matter of taste, but was incredible value in my view. Service staff in restaurants faultless.

We had an enjoyable cruise although embarcation was very slow for individual guests but once inside the terminal building the process speeded up. The staff in the Peninsula restaurant were excellent particularly the lady booking the tables Jaea (I hope that's correct) and Richie and his team. Our cabin steward, Sunny, was also veery good. The speaker from Orca and Linda Sage were also very good.

The crew especially cabin stewards and catering staff were outstanding, as were the meals and service. The vibration and stability on sea days was the only down side.

Britannia is a very stylish ship, lots to do, food is amazing especially in the beach house and Sindhi is great, lovely friendly staff, ship is easy to get around, directions on all decks, ship is kept very clean, I love cruising on Britannia.
