Azura ReviewsView Cruise Deals
Just returned from Caribbean cruise first time on Azura, must thank Iglucruise for arrangements, first class flights were fine with Thomas Cook. Not so good coming home which was a night flight and rather noisy not much chance of a nap on this flight. Have done a number of cruises so we are bound to compare and we found this ship a bit too big for us, but the staff were courteous and helpful. Entertainment was not really up to much, Headliners are always excellent young and energetic we saw them three times, didn't rate the rest. We were delighted with our cabin, booking at the last minute we didn't expect a lot but it was the best cabin we have ever had even better than a mini suite. Just one downside the bathroom gave off a rather nasty smell on several occasions, we mentioned this to our cabin boy who nodded and said it does happen and would sort it and he did. Having said that it didn't spoil our holiday, we enjoyed most things although the food and choice was not as good as it used to be. We met a nice couple from Scotland, although we had a table for two and so did they we were close enough to chat and we really enjoyed our chats each evening in the Oriental Restaurant...Sam was a lecturer and he was on his soap box most evenings and we covered a range of topics...did not get their email address so Sam and Margaret if you read this hope you arrived home safe and Margaret that you are well.
Have just returned from two weeks Carribean cruise aboard Azura, being our first cruise we didn't know what to expect. We were very well treated by all staff. The ship was brilliant, entertainment excellent and ports of call absolutely beautiful. Glad to say I will definately be going again. Thank You P&O.

Cruise from Southampton to the Caribbean in November 2013 the crossing for first 3 day was up and down. After that the weather was nice for 5 days and in the Caribbean very hot. Great trip!
Went to the Caribbean from Southampton very nice cruise crossing for 1st of November
This was our 4th cruise with P&O Cruises. We went to the Caribbean, and again it was lovely, however we think that the standards have dropped on the Azura, since 2011. The steward kept our cabin clean, and always in tiptop shape, the guys on the terrace bar were brilliant, this is where we spent most of our time considering we had 11 days at sea. When we first went on Ventura we always saw our captain, on this one we heard him when he was doing anouncments but that was it. Some of the passengers on board were very rude, and thought they owned the ship. When people were disembarking the ship on our first day in Barbados there was no one to help passengers in wheelchairs, I thought that this was disgusting, it seemed that all the people that were getting off the ship on the Saturday were not important to any of the staff and all they were interested in was getting the new passengers on. I thought that this was totally wrong and they should realise that without passengers they would not have a job. Yes I understand that you have to get the cabins and the ship ready for the passengers coming onboard but why did you forget about the passengers who had been on the ship for 16 days. May I say not the best crossing in the world, also I heard that has from next year April you will not beable to smoke on your balcony or on the ship, if this is true why sell cigarettes on the ship or put smokers on one side of the ship and the rest on the other if people where complaining about people smoking on the ship.
Just got back from a relocation cruise on the Azura. I was not looking forward to being on a big ship but it was wonderful, the only problem being the overcrowding at breakfast in the buffet dining . The crew were friendly, the food excellent and the cabin very comfortable . Can't wait for the next one......
Just returned from 7 nights to the Norwegian fjiords. Had a fabulous time, first cruise on the Azura and we were not disappointed. The food, service and ambience were wonderful, cant wait for my next cruise. Particularly enjoyed the "dress up" nights, its all part of the experience, its the first cruise that I finally persuaded my husband into a dinner jacket and bow tie and he looked pretty good.
Last weekend my wife Jan and I had a 4 night cruise to see how P&O perform against other cruises we had been on. We were not let down on our expectations, from the very slick car valet parking along side and the check in procedure we were in our cabin within 30 minutes!!! The food the service and entertainment were first class and the guest performance by Russell Watson was superb. The sale away party from each port was fantastic as everyone joined in the singing and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves.Very Very happy with the whole experience and will 100% use P&O again.
