Aurora Reviews
View Cruise DealsThe ship looked a bit tired.
I have recently returned from a cruise to the Canary Isles, it was a great experience for my first cruise. The staff at all levels on the Aurora were splendid. The food was very good and plenty of choice, my only negative comment is that the food was not hot enough. The ship having been refurbished, was very pleasant. I came home and booked another cruise on the same ship.
We had a great holiday, it was so easy to book with iglu cruise, their rep Tony was so friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this company.
4 nights Guernsey & Zeebrugge 16th Aug 2019. We have sailed with P&O many times and they are our favourite cruise line. It was our first time on Aurora and we have never written a review before but just had to compliment all concerned at Iglu and P&O for a thoroughly enjoyable time. My wife and I have enjoyed the Headliners theatre troupe on many occasions but this was the best ever, both shows were comparable to anything you will see in the West end and the Other Guys were a fabulous group of 4 singers. We couldn’t dock at Guernsey due to choppy waters so we spent an extra day in Zeebrugge. We will definitely be sailing Aurora again, a lovely smaller ship, which we prefer. Once again great staff, great service, super entertainment. Best value pound for pound to be found anywhere. Well done P&O.
Fantastic ship and brilliant staff.
All good but we feel the ship needs updating. We dined in the Oriental restaurant, the food was fine just needed to be hotter.

We very much enjoyed our cruise. We were well taken care of at all levels of service. The staff we were in contact with, especially our cabin steward and the Dining room staff were especially caring and pro-active in giving us a good experience, The only disappointment was not getting into Cadiz due to side-winds.
This was our first cruise and we were looking forward to it , the crew were really lovely and the food was first class, we were on the lido deck near the entrance but that was where everyone who smoked sat so we could smell it in our corridor which as a non smokers was not very nice, our cabin though was very comfortable also had lots of storage but the balcony was rather small for two people, we were very disappointed with the entertainment as it was geared to elderly people when we booked the adult only cruise we thought that there would be a good mix of adult ages but found this not to be the case, we went to the disco in masquerades and we were the only ones in there we are a couple in our early sixties and we were not ready for bed at eleven. the only entertainment we enjoyed were the comedian and Graffiti classic who were both excellent, we would not choose to go on this ship again and it has slightly put us off going on another cruise
