We have sailed in the past with P&O Cruises on Oriana, however Arcadia far outweighed Oriana. We had an outside cabin which was very nice however for the first six nights were unable to sleep well as there was a lot of noise coming from below our cabin. We complained to reception on several occassions and eventually we were moved to a higher deck. The food was of a high standard and the waiters were exceptional — our daughter celebrated her 21st birthday and I think almost every waiter in the restaurant joined in to sing Happy Birthday. The cake they made for her was really nice. Entertainment was good in the theatre. Good deck games and really friendly staff.

We had a fantastic first cruise to the Med. The staff were all wonderful. Special thanks to Desmond our cabin steward and Ben and his assistant in the dining room. Already booked to go next year on Ventura to the Fjords.

We went to the Baltic and it was a really fantastic cruise and we saw some interesting places. I have also sailed on QM2 and there is no comparison really between the two ships, but that is only to be expected as the is QM2 fantastic. It was difficult getting a seat in the theatre, although the shows were excellent far better than the QM2. Happy cruising.

I was on Arcadia last year, and was suprised by how modern she still looks. The Gary Rhodes restaurant was particularly good. The cabins were a little on the small side, but the attentive cabin attendants more than made up for this - nothing was too much trouble. I'll definately be cruising on P&O again.
