First ship we sailed on so sad to be saying goodbye to her. Beautiful ship., fantastic crew ( shame about the captain on last cruise she was noticeable by her absence, rude and uncommunicative) fortunately didn’t spoil the cruise in fact booked for final one. Looking forward to saying hi and bye to many of the crew, but sad too. Sure we will meet again. We usually do. Keep cruising P&O, but let’s become British Cruising again, with better dress code. Dropcasual night and bring back smart. That’s what cruising is about.

Cruise to the Azores, Madiera, Canaries and Lisbon from Southampton: 30 May 2019 Great itinerary and lovely ship - our first (& last) time on Oriana: she was still in excellent condition all round despite only having a couple of months left with the P & O fleet. You can see why she has to go as very few cabins have balconies and this seemed to result in an 'older than average' 'guest' list (even allowing for the fact that she is 'adults only'). Friendly atmosphere on board which the crew seemed to like and nothing was ever overcrowded. Overall, crew, service, food and facilities were all up to usual P & O standard, less alternative dining options than the larger ships, but those that were available were excellent and good bars, especially the cosy Anderson's. The only problem was with delayed disembarkation and that was down to the port not the ship! Sorry to see a good ship go, but you have to move with the times.
